This week we welcome Dutchman Marc de Koning to the show to take care of Episode #81.

Bio:

His music style varies from deep and energetic house to underground progressive tech house. With this deep love & appreciation of house music, he began to produce his own music.

In 2014 his music career took a turn for the better when Dimitri Kneppers, the pioneer of house music in the Netherlands began to incorporate Marc’s music into his sets.

2014 brought another DJ blessing into the mix for Marc met Luke Santos, a well loved & talented DJ from Argentina who now lives in Amsterdam. They clicked and have been pro ducing music together ever since.

Marc de Koning is presently a resident DJ at RLGC44 (Recycle Lounge Gallery Club) in Amsterdam.

Bio:

British-born DJ/producer Nick Newman has established himself as one of the most original and deeply-textured artists in the electronic music scene. Newman’s music, characterized by its warm meditative quality and ethereal soundscapes, has made its way onto industry-leading labels such as Armadillo Records, Seven Villas, The Soundgarden, Sudbeat Music, Manual Music, and Stripped Recordings. Bio :
Runik discovered electronic music during early 90's, enjoying various genres like hardcore, rave, techno, trance, acid house and more ...

He has always been passionate about it, being a listener through his work day as software engineer, and crafting sets during the evening.
However, being a father of two forced him to reconsider how to use his freetime, as it's now a scarce resource ...

Today he's more into slower paces, deeper basses and progressive melodies, but he doesn't forget about what got him into electronic music first. His show Assorted Progressive reflects that, as it is a blend of old and new progressive tracks, with touches of techno, trance, breaks, etc.

He doesn't believe in barriers between music genres, just in good music.

Generally you won't find the latest releases in his sets, as there's already so much good music available at hand that goes almost unnoticed ... so recent tracks will find their way there, in good time ;)
If during a set you get the "wow, how come I never heard this gem before ?" effect, he'll consider his mission accomplished. And if you get into the story he's telling you, he'll be delighted !
