If you're a fan of DJ Supermarkt's 'Too Slow To Disco' series you'll want to to check for this new three-tracker from Ben Jamin immediately, because the Liverpool-based producer - who's racked up releases on the likes of Hot Gorilla, Discoholics Anonymous, Hot Digits and, yes, Too Slow To Disco - captures that mid-70s yacht rock and Quiet Storm soul vibe perfectly. The title track is a sleek, sophisticated slow jam with jazzy overtones - if you'd told this writer it was a long-lost Captain & Tenille cut, I'd have believed you! - while 'Destiny' treads a more straight-up disco path and 'I'm Dancing' drops down into a low-slung funk groove, but you'll have to pick your own standout here... all three are so good that picking a favourite seems a tad redundant!

Multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer Crackazat steps up to remix ‘Do Me Right’ from Ben Westbeech’s forthcoming Glitterbox LP, Everything Is Within You. Featuring singer-songwriter RAHH with supporting vocals from Dames Brown, the second single from the 8-track album blends rich, live instrumentation with soulful vocal prowess – as heard in the YouTube live version filmed in Ibiza with Ben, RAHH and acclaimed vocalist Obi Franky. On this remix is a talented artist whose wealthy knowledge of genre spans house, jazz, and Afro electronic, Crackazat utilises fresh percussive beats underneath RAHH and Dames Brown’s smooth vocals for ‘Do Me Right’. Now peppered with syncopated, instrumental stabs, Crackazat has delivered a vibey, energetic club cut that is sure to be a secret weapon for house DJs globally.

We've really enjoyed Russian label Lisztomania Records' (@sundries_lisztomania) excursions into breaksy material recently, and their first planned vinyl release from label boss @igorgonya and @daveplatts continues the thread in fine style with this remix from @replikamusic. The perfect blend of broken beats and housey warmth, it revolves around a phat KORGy bass synth and cutesy little delayed motifs. The vinyl is being sourced via Qrates, which presses limited vinyl runs on demand - so click the buy link if you want one and it should get a pressing once it reaches a threshold of orders.
