2023 EDM/DRUM&BASE MIXTAPE APRIL

The land was a blur, wind rushing through her antennae.  Water came and went, the sun flowed overhead and then departed leaving the glowing eyes of the departed to look down in eternal hunger.  Nothing could stop her, not even the invisible crow or serpentine frog.  Ahead lay the cornucopia, behind a trail membrane stretched to infinity.

This was it, the plants fell one by one.  First swathes of grass, tough but sustaining, then broadleaves, oh the delicious succulents! Small shrubs and one day, yes one day whole trees...

A remix of the song "Twenty Eight Hours" by Clxrity.
I used her vocal stem, and invented the rest as seemed fit.

The mix is still of questionable quality, as I did it entirely on laptop, sometimes with ear pods. There's definitely room for improvements, but I didn't want to spend loads of time on it.

A Serious Hit - Guitars & synths

Kind of a chill dnb track. Had to get this out of my head as it was kinda stuck there keeping me awake (literally)… funny how life throws inspirations at you sometimes. I wanted it to be kind of relaxing, and hopeful but still carry a bit of tension and upbeat energy. Hopefully I got it right.
