I just tested my new Gibson Special for recordings (left signal)compared to a Squier Telecaster CV(right signal) and a Fender Stratocaster (middle). Added some bass, keys and midi drums. This is, what came out of it.

Vester Strat -> Vox Wah -> Nobels ODR-1 -> Seymour Duncan Booster -> Yamaha DDS-20M Delay -> Garageband tweet amp simulation.

The Vester Tradition Series Strat is built as close to a 60s strat as it can get. 
The pickups are crap, just as the pots and knobs. But it's a perfect base for an upgrade. Solid 2 piece body, a decent D-shape maple neck. Upgraded it with Fender American Standard pickups and pots an saw the sunrise. 
I would say the quality is similar to Fernandes "the revival" - means: Way above Fender Mexico.
