Well, “Never Get Over U” started with the main lead. I found that sound and it immediately felt unique to me. I know it’s not very commercial, I admit that, but I always had faith that it could work. I paired it with several elements that softened its aggressiveness and complemented its character well.

The drums are powerful; I’m honestly very proud of them. The bass sits exactly where I wanted it to be, and I love how it turned out. I know this track isn’t meant for everyone, and that’s why I decided to release it without sending it to labels for review first. I didn’t want to waste their time, or mine, with a song like this.

This track makes me feel a mix of happiness and anxiety but, that’s just my personal interpretation. I want you to enjoy it however you need to; music is made to be felt in your own way.

This song was also kept on the shelf for quite some time, but with my new knowledge and confidence, I was finally able to finish it and make it something I truly enjoy.
