One thing that sets Dr Meaker apart from most drum and bass producers is his uncanny skills in sampling. We’re not talking about the latest downloadable packs either; this is raw, back to the old school crate digging business. ‘Here & Now’ is a prime example of this, alongside some very homemade beats and bass that some may find familiar to Zinc’s legendary breakbeat output. Feel that bassline resonate in your chest as the vintage samples ring true, removing all inhibitions from the dance floor.

The combination of Dr Meakers no nonsense approach to production combined with the heritage of Bingo Bass is no doubt a winning formula. More to come.
