“METS”, meaning “forest” in Estonian, is an experimental 4-track EP by Keazala, born from a year immersed in the rhythm of sunrise psytrance sets and the quiet, grounding beauty of Estonia’s pine woods. After six years of travelling, Keazala’s return home became a spiritual reawakening — a reconnection to roots, rhythm, and reverence for nature.

Each track weaves together pulsating, fast-paced soundscapes with ethereal vocal textures sampled from the poetry of Artur Alliksaar (1950s) — fragmented, reimagined, and carried through the forest like distant echoes of the past. The result is a sonic journey that blurs the line between movement and meditation.

METS invites the listener inward and outward at once — to dance, to breathe, to remember. It’s an offering of love to the land, to community, and to the timeless pulse that connects all living things.

For a moment, the surrounding noises began to warp and breathe with a motion of suction and expansion. The pattern emerging inbetween the back of my eyes and the incoming light grew more detailed every heartbeat. Before i could comprehend it's shape and distinct pulsating features, everything suddenly changed. There came this satisfying but frightening Euler's disc sound. The steady and slow rhythmic humming quickly accelerated into this all-encompassing, ear-shattering cosmic shriek. My brain felt like it was pierced all the way to it's core. As if the juice of singularity injected into it. I fell through a portal into a new realm. It felt like true peace and infinity out there. Was it this, the old religions tried to teach? Or a completely new, purely physical orgasmic wave i'm riding on? I don't know. But the sound was good.

We are leaning into the deep depths of psychedelic music. An unapologetic continuation of this experiment we all love so much. Unfolding brains through controlled vibration.
