Music has always been around me.
Through struggles. Through triumphs. Through my biggest wins and darkest lows — it’s always been there.
And I know I’m not alone in that. Music is mutual ground. A shared language. No matter the genre, no matter the taste.

We all have our own palettes for sound.
I’ll be real — there have been times I wanted to quit.
To let it all go.
But it keeps coming back.
Like it’s natural instinct. Like something in me is built to gravitate toward it — to explore it through theory and curiosity.

Some of you know I lost my hard drive a month ago.
Years of work, sound design, and ideas — gone.
All I had left were a few songs I’d squirreled away.
These tracks… they mean everything to me. They’re from an unfinished album I can’t work on anymore. That loss hit hard.

But instead of letting them rot away, I wanted to put them into the world — not just as a mix, but as a statement.
A feeling that drives me to keep going.
A core root in my philosophy and spirituality:

Always find a way.
To create. To express. To live.

As many of you know, when I perform one of the goals I verbalize most often is to "ruin everyone's mind."  My thought when making this track was: let me write something that represents what I envision when I say "I want to ruin your mind" to people. This is what came out of that artistic process! By taking compositional cues from some of my favorite bass producers of all time like PEEKABOO, G-Rex, and Sully alongside some re-sampling of old school hip-hop and trap music, this track is my favorite I have ever written. With his ecstatic stage presence, & mind-melting tunes that’ll have you head banging one minute, & crying the next, Percussive Trip reigns from the mid-Missouri area. 

Within the last 6 years, he’s had the opportunity to make a name for himself all around the Midwestern region, playing at events like Brydfest 2019, Franco & Friends, Turnt Up Tuesday’s, Wavy Wednesday’s, Magic Moon Festival, and future events to come such as astral abyss, Sunday spins, and more. 

Outside of producing & performing, Percussive Trip also enjoys his daily lifestyle as a Budtender/Patient Consultant working in the Medical/Recreational Marijuana industry, assisting patients with specific products for their ailments. 
His drive and determination has allowed him to push the envelope in his local scene driving more venues to create a safe space for the EDM community by hosting shows and booking local talent to perform in his area, with “hopefully many more to come in the near future” he stated.
