This song is about a deformed girl who is bullied relentlessly for her deformity. Despite this, a boy often shows her kindness and care and tells her to ignore the things often said to her. However, he speeds up nearly to a run when walking with her in public, and the girl realizes despite his kind words even he cannot see past her deformity. While in the music video, the girl is depicted as deformed, it can be inferred this is a metaphor for other reasons of bullying, such as being transgender.
