We’ve been absolutely chomping at the bit to share our Fusion Festival set recording. This night was pure magic, the craziest experience of our lives. We fed off the energy of the crowd and they weren’t short on giving it to us.

Since our little Fusion seshwa we’ve had a fair chunk of people who attended reach out asking us where the fuck the recording is?? Well here it is! Wrap your bloody listening gear around it and enjoy legends.

It took us quite a long time to get this project going, mostly because of me not co-operating as I should… But when I finally did, and we had an ever growing list of remixers, it became obvious that we were missing something pretty crucial – a Progressive Psytrance remix ( …yeah the one with the running bassline and Psy sounds ). You know - basically the main genre which most of the Trance events are built around. After realizing this, it was the time to take action and all of a sudden I recalled that Andreas and I have met recently on a mutual Brazil tour and I was immensely impressed by his own version of non compromising gritty ballsy Psy, while Emok had the same name on his mind on the other side of the Skype conversation… The collaboration with Yotopia came to mind immediately as an ultimate track for him to remix. Boom!

It's been 11 years of Perfect Stranger, and that means countless classic tunes that have kept up with the rhythm of time. The remix album features 3 CDs showcasing the very best of Perfect Stranger, revisited by some of the finest artists in the scene, each paying tribute to 11 years of perfectly strange tunes by adding their own manifesto of groove to the remixes.

CD1 takes in the psychedelic trance sound with artists like Gaudium, Loud, Eat Static &amp; Captain Hook taking on remix duties amongst many others. CD2 takes in the infamous psy-tech sound which Perfect Stranger did so much to hone with his 2008 release Free Clouds. Artists such as Spectre, Jossie Telch &amp; Sensient provide some scintillating remixes alongside a whole host of major artists in this niche area of the psychedelic sound. Last but not least we have CD3, which see&rsquo;s Perfect Stranger revisiting a number of his previous remixes and putting a 2017 production polish on them.

ELECTRONICO is an electronic music duo 
formed in Brussels in 2019 by Nicolas Elbo & Petia Staneva​​​​​​​


Biography of Nicolas Elbo

Born in Brussels, Nicolas is rocked by music since his childhood (his mother is a dance teacher). His adolescence is marked by the electronic musics he listens to in clubs and festivals in Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, Leuven and Liege. Nicolas spends his nights compiling the most innovative artists in eclectic playlists: house, techno, electronica, intelligent dance music, drum and bass, nu jazz, trip hop or psytrance. Soon, he started as an amateur DJ for private parties.

In 2014 Nicolas meets Petia Staneva, a Bulgarian violinist and singer who settled in Brussels. He follows her during her performances and starts his career as a professional DJ mixing for weddings, celebrations and corporate cocktails.

In 2018, in order to convince his partner to engage in music production with him, he released two first EPs under the pseudonym ELECTRONICO. Self-produced, Nicolas is introduced to the music industry and creates a network for its own promotion on the internet.

In 2019, Nicolas participates in contests and remixes internationally renowned artists. He collaborates with a French lyricist, Jérôme Attal, and puts to music one of his poems. With these experiences, Nicolas reaches a certain maturity and is joined by Petia with whom he is now preparing the continuation of the adventure of ELECTRONICO in duet.


Biography of Petia Staneva

Petia started playing the violin at the age of 7 and graduated from the Conservatory of Sofia in Bulgaria. She then studied for one year at the Conservatory of Turin in Italy to become concertmaster. After graduating, Petia was awarded the position of principal violin in the "First Private Orchestra of Bulgaria".

In 1994, Petia had the opportunity to sign a contract with Hilton, Sheraton & Conrad: three of the most prestigious hotels in Brussels, Belgium. In a few years, she created a repertoire covering a wide range of genres, from classics to contemporary pop music. This allowed her to start an independent career based on a unique act of virtuoso violin.

Today, in addition to playing the violin, Petia also sings. She works now with the best companies and event organisers from Belgium, France and the Netherlands. Petia often appears on stage as an opening act for famous Belgian artists such as Dana Winner, Axell Red, Will Tura, Salvatore Adamo, Johan Verminnen, Bart Herman, Gary Hagger, Jean Bosco Safari, Coco Jr., etc. She also works for exclusive events such as Miss Belgium, Miss Belgian Beauty, Night of Exclusive, La Strada Fashion Show, Eccentric, Xenses and many more.

ELECTRONICO will be a new duo adventure in her beautiful career.

Perfect Stranger is the stage name for California-based, Israeli electronic musician Yuli Fershtat. The Perfect Stranger project was created in February 2005 and within 2 years of its debut became critically acclaimed all over the globe. Perfect Stranger ultimately created his own sub-genre in the psychedelic scene by presenting a totally distinctive sound characterized by groovy playful beats and patiently built compositions that often bridge between progressive trance and techno with a presence of tribal and psychedelic elements.

Perfect Stranger has released 3 full artist albums, 3 remix albums, 3 compilations and appears on well over a hundred other releases (compilations, EPs, albums, etc.). He also owns & runs the “Digital Structures” label, where he publishes more tech-orientated sounds under the Yuli Fershtat moniker.
