Hauswerks & Doorly rekindle their occasional collaboration for two more slices of house magic on Get Physical Music. 

The pair last appeared on the label with 2018's 'Another Wrong Turn', which proved huge. And it's no wonder because Hauswerks has been at the sharp end of underground house and tech for more than a decade. He's appeared on leading labels like Hot Creations and Moon Harbour, and always remains one step ahead of the game. Meanwhile, Doorly is also a global player with credits on Cajual and Play It Say It. He’s a main room house man who can make an impact on even the biggest crowds, as well as being a BBC Radio 1 regular and in-demand remixer. 

They open up this one with 'Baby Blues,' a steamy and late-night house track designed to turn any dance floor into a cauldron. Psychedelic keys loop over a chunky beat while shadowy voices bleed in and out of the mix. An atmospheric breakdown eventually gives way to a big drop that will power up the crowd once more. The super 'C'est Moi' is a fulsome and dubby tech house roller with weighty bass. An intoxicating vocal wail serves as a call to action and dub techno chords flesh things out even more. 

The Tribal Misfits EP brings fresh character and energy from this accomplished pair.

Having recently provided Underground Audio with his remix of Javi Bora's 'Weapons', Barcelona favourite Piem presents his own collection for the label via his 'Rude' EP. 

Seething with attitude, title track 'Rude' champions weighty percussion straddled by pronounced chord stabs. Raffa FL flips the original, dousing it in biting hi hats and a hefty sub. The 2nd remix comes from Los Pastores, who approach the track from a different stance, shifting the previously choppy synths into an atmospheric roller.

Piem returns to close the EP with second original mix 'Over Me'. Muffled vocal samples unfurl to reveal dissonant delays spiralling into the shuffles of snares and shakers

DJ Susan, our founder and label boss has been ten toes down behind every Hood Politics release this year and now it is with great pleasure, that we finally roll out the red carpet for his first official release this year.

Having signed consistent groundbreaking releases on the label this year, Susan knew he had to step it up with his first single release and really knock it out of the park. His latest offering 'La Bomba' did exactly that, as we see Susie ascend onto the next level of his productions, boasting what we feel his best work yet.

'La Bomba' is a sweltering, tribal influenced tech-house time bomb determined to set any performance on fire. The tracks 'out the gate' attitude delivers an undeniable energy as a huge baseline, tribal shouts and energetic synth work surround the track taking its listeners on a blistering journey. This track is huge, and fully captivates Susan's direction in creating relentless party-starting tracks.

Closing out his year with a consistent, high profile release schedule, it only felt necessary to bring our founder and label boss back to the home turf to kick things off properly with 'La Bomba'.
