Recently, Matthew Anthony and Mark Starr have been combing through demo submissions in search of those extra special songs for the hotly-anticipated Swerve Vol 4 Compilation. In doing so they came across some strong tunes by an artist named Steve Darko. Based on the Atlantic coast in Boston, his music fits well with our Pacific coast sound. Without further ado; we'd like to introduce him now as an official Perfect Driver with his 2 track EP titled "Temptation." Consisting of title track "Temptation" and b side "Straight Up," both cuts are a perfect way to warm up dance-floors and pool parties alike. -How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?
A friend showed me Justin Martin’s “Ruff Stuff” after seeing him at Day of the Dead. Probably one of the grooviest/dirtiest beats I’ve ever heard till this day.

-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?
Justin Martin, Kyle Watson and of course Claude VonStroke

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?
Dazed and Confused

-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
I’ll go with my most recent favorite which was The Cat Empire at the House of Blues.

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?
Probably to the 70s. It would be funny to see my dad in high school haha.

-What species of bird best describes you and why?
The eagle because they are determined and fearless. Eagle Powers!

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?
Dirtybird is the reason why I started and stuck with producing house music. I feel so honored to have this opportunity.

Sebi aka Maximono, for instance, has been smashing out music, record labels, and Dj sets for over 20 years. Combing multiple genres into his ethos of Good Vibes House music, he has found the secret sauce to his creativity and career.

The lead record In The Edit is a driving, disco-infused house weapon. Good luck finding where he sampled it from ;). The flip, Lights Go Down takes a step back with its chunky drums and M1 piano groove. Both highlighting what we love about Maximono and his ability to make music for any occasion.
