Home to some of the undergrounds big-hitters like Billy Kenny, Sage Armstrong, and Rrotik, Matthew Anthony’s LA label, Perfect Driver, has provided a solid platform for some of house music’s hottest emerging talent since its inception in 2012, including Melbourne-based Dave Smith, aka Kovaxx.

Following a series of tech-house heaters on Perfect Driver, and bolstered by his dance floor-damaging EPs ‘Initiate’ and ‘Numbers’, Kovaxx now prepares to launch an exciting new project from Down Under, as he spearheads Perfect Driver Australia: a subsidiary label of the LA imprint which will put him in the driving seat.

With Australia’s burgeoning dance music scene home to some of the world’s most exciting new producers, it’s the perfect opportunity to expose some serious Aussie talent, allowing Kovaxx to showcase some of his own music while collaborating with label-mates and fresh faces with a focus on quality over quantity. Label head Kovaxx has stepped-up for the first release on Perfect Driver Australia, and his five-track ‘Course Of Action’ EP sets the bar high.

Available April 14th via Perfect Driver Australia, the ‘Course Of Action EP’ heralds a new Aussie heatwave, and it’s about to get real hot Down Under.
