HOUSEHATS are a new Melbourne-based three-piece band, and ALL TOGETHER is their first release.  

Recorded by Daniel Caswell (Horace Bones, DIET) and mixed by Michael Badger (King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, IV League), All Together is a three-and-a-half minute slice of poppy, post-millennial malaise, taking cues from Eddy Current Suppression Ring and Parquet Courts.  

Envisioned by former World Moustache Championship attendee Fredrik Persen Fostvedt, from the front the Norwegian expat launches his tribe of three into battle. As he gleefully lops off heads, Viking blood singing through his veins, bassist Margy Noble and drummer Joshua De Laurentiis fan the flames with a constant throb of rhythmic energy, relentlessly bashing away behind pithy tales of contemporary struggle delivered on the breeze.

But when each fight is over, and you know another is but moments away, that’s the space where you'll find Househats.

Call it post-punk, call it garage pop: it just is.

As we each sail across our own tumultuous seas of treachery and unknowing danger, Househats soundtrack the journey. As for making it to the other side? Here’s hoping for the best.
