The next artist stormed into many other artists DJ playlist by the end of last year. Perfo then released his debut EP on Wrong Assessment's AWRY. Five cuts that are aggressive of nature, but all coming from a different point of view. Whether it is building up the groove or approaching it with heavier sound design, the artist showed with his debut that he is not a one-trick pony.

French-born, Berlin-based, Perfo, debuts on MindTrip with an aggressive yet hypnotic journey. After having released on Hayes and Awry, Perfo expresses his mindful envision of Techno music across four tracks with ‘‘L’Aurore EP‘‘.‘‘The nerve center‘‘ presents an exhilarating ride through trippy textures, sharp basslines and modular flavor. ‘‘Murdered by her daughters‘‘ lifts us to the peak hours and sets the tone for what will follow. The mesmerizing trip continues with ‘‘The Cicada’s dance‘‘, a fast-paced groove-led Techno filler; while ‘’L’Aurore’’ shifts the listener‘s mood, creating the perfect, enigmatic and atmospheric outro for this recording.

Perfo joins us for a special recording in chapter 81 of our MindTrip Podcast. He was born in France but later he relocated to Berlin where he started releasing his own music in 2020. Since then, we have seen him on labels like AWRY, Hayes, and most recently on MindTrip with his brand-new 4-track EP titled "L'Aurore. Perfo is renowned for his dynamic sound and distinguishable powerful rhythms rife with cinematic overtures that shape a guiding vision of techno music. With every track he releases he takes the listeners on an introspective journey thanks to his distinctive, no-holds-barred approach to sound and design. 

This session is a perfect example of how he can combine traditional rhythms with an avant-garde, trippy style, and it perfectly captures his sound.
