Capturing the sweetness and softness of a Chamber Strings section has long been a dream of ours. Recorded in collaboration with our friend Jasper Blunk from Performance Samples we have now made that dream a reality.

Dolce is our definitive romantic Chamber Strings library with 7 1st Violins, 5 2nd Violins, 4 Violas, 3 Celli, and 3 Double Basses. We selected our favorite players all of whom we've worked with on many other projects and recorded a large selection of articulations to really offer something that will be a well-rounded tool in your arsenal.

Vista II - Low Strings Pizz + Piano + Vln Classical Shorts - Early Test

HIGHLIGHT: 12 VIOLINS LEGATO MF-F

Track by Jasper Blunk. All patches from Vista 2 (brass and harp is bonus in the library). External verb used but nothing else on the master - all patches are extremely early. Brass isn't tuned yet. Violins have a bit of take selection but not much finesse yet at all. In this particular track legato patches used are just one dynamic so it doesn't show the dynamic range yet (just volume on mod-wheel), however up to 12+. dynamics have been recorded for legatos so far. The challenge was to try to write a quick piece in a brief period of time with just Vista 2. From my recollection all mics were decca. - JB

In this particular track the legato patch used is just one dynamic so it doesn't show the dynamic range yet (just volume on mod-wheel), however up to 12+. dynamics have been recorded for legatos so far. The challenge was to try to write a quick piece in a brief period of time with just Vista 2. Most mics are decca but close mixed in, in some cases (like cello legatos).  - JB
