"I remember my fourteen year old self, listening to Depeche Mod on a CD player, immersed in their intoxicating sound, yearning to be an English boy, from anywhere, didn't matter where, as long as it was in England. 
I was completely stunned by that sound of pipes and breaking bicycles, flowing from the CD player, shattering my 60's friendly virgin ears that were used to easy melodies played by innocent guitars on a black and white Emerson TV. 

In this "Hello" remix from the Violator album, I chose to use vocals from an early version demo, I absolutely love the raw sound they were able to produce. 
This remix has been with me around the world, played in every set as my secret weapon. Now it's finally time for me to share it with you"

18 tracks deep, featuring old friends (Man Power, DC Salas, Juan Mclean and TERR) and new friends (Captain Mustache, Mala Ika, Franz Scala, INVŌKER) alike, 'Compilation 8' is a sonic silver lining to keep us marching through these strange times. Power-packed with every leftfield shade and flavour we've come to know and love Jennifer Cardini's label for. Dark disco, sexy synthwave, slo-mo cosmic funk and sleazy, dubby techno are all deep in the mix.

Highlights come in all forms and flavours, shapes and sizes from Man Power's moody, hypnotic opener 'Casual Loop' right the way through to Invoker's emotional breakbeat farewell 'Let The World Heal'. Elsewhere Damon Jee and Darlyn Vlys go full trance on 'Sin City', V takes on a cult Lithuanian classic from the mid 90s 'Insect Dance', Julian Stetter and Johannes Klingebiel collaborate for the very first time… And Rodion flips Jarle Brathen and Hard Ton's 'Master In Disguise' into an electro overture.

All this and stacks more; Correspondant have defied the curse of 2020 with musical innovation and premium positive vibrations. Keep on marching.

Night after night, without fail, the mysterious man propped himself up at the end of the bar, preceding to order what had now become his "regular". He never said a word, only gestured with his hand when he needed a refill then responded with a nod when served. All the other punters that frequented this place were curious; in this small town all faces were familiar, yet this man remained a question mark. 

Following the release of his first single a few months ago, mysterious producer Bozart returns to Avignon-based label AZZUR for his first EP, 'Dance and Trance'. Putting more of his influences on display, the two-track release fuses elements of new wave, rock and techno, making for a hypnotic trip on or off the dance floor.
