In spaceflight, perigee is the point at which the orbiting object is closest to the body it is orbiting. At perigee, the forces are greatest and the orbiting object is traveling fastest. Because of this momentum, perigee is the ideal place to break orbit and begin a new path. Drawing parallels to life, it makes for an interesting mindset. Sometimes the most painful action is what sets us free.

This is a concept album. It's a musical journey of breaking orbit and finding direction.

1. I was impressed by what I found; I admired it from a distance.
2. I got closer to understand; upon further inspection, not everything was as it seemed.
3. This was unexpected; as quickly as the words were spoken, everything changed.
4. I had to figure out what to do next; I had to figure out how to reverse it all.
5. I was forced out; what happened was inevitable.
6. The plan went awry; I survived the turbulence.
7. Loss inspires replacement; moving on, looking forward.
8. The concept of something stillborn is very sad; the lifeless product of a fruitless union.
9. Something else captures my attention; my eyes are opened to something more amazing.
10. Knowing where I came from gives me direction to where I'm going; doing what I'm designed to do, I can do great things.
