Love Me

This is a Warren Zevon tune that we've loved for years. This was also our first 'full band' track in studio where we overdubbed all the instruments ourselves.  It was mega fun!!!  Hope you like it!

Carmelita

Here's a real pretty little waltz we love.  This was composed by Ernest Tubb in 1965.  With Sophia's mastermind for harmonies this tune was a winner for us.  

Waltz Across Texas

So this is a Tom Waits tune that we really love.  Our friend Bruce Horak dropped by rehearsal tonight so we thought we'd record it with him. If you like what you hear, come to Musideum on June 26th - 7pm.  Bruce is doing an opening set for PH, and we'll play this tune altogether if we get enough likes =)

Hold On

After years of chance encounters, near misunderstandings and missed opportunities, Toronto based singers Terra Hazelton and Sophia Perlman discovered a musical connection usually reserved for family, and a love for music and harmony that extends beyond their respective careers as jazz singers. 
As bootcamp before they record their own first full-length album in the fall, they are trekking across Western Canada, armed with their new-found harmony super-powers, and little collection of early recordings of the music that inspires them most. 

All songs will have some combination of the following;

PERL - Voice, Piano, Ukele, Accordian, Suitcase kick drum,  &  Vocal Choir

HAZE - Voice, Bass, Guitar, Hi Hat, Harmony vocals
