Le Soleil et La Mer (Global Communication tribute redux-2019)

1) Intro : Translation in english : Clouds...At certain moments I found out that lots of people attracted by it, they found sort of protection with haschich...What kind of protection ? Some sort of a cloud, a cocoon. It's true. Can you explain it ? No I can't but when you get high like that you cannot see things for what they are. You embellish things a lot and the things that you can't embelish, you forget them.

The three tracks for this EP are lovingly crafted using his collection of vintage drum machines, samplers and expansive modular setup, and are presented in both stereo and Dolby Atmos. Opener 'havin it' is quick-stepping, low slung house cut lit up with glistening chords and gorgeous soul samples that shine through next to low-key but euphoric 90s trance progressions. It makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside while remaining locked to the groove. 'lush' is just that, with summery harp strums shimmering across dusty and speedy deep house drums that sweep you up and fill your heart with hope and joy. It's a richly layered sound with a curiousness that truly enchants. Lastly, 'WNE' straightens your back with upright and snappy drums, woody percussion and frayed edged chords that have a cosy nostalgic glow. Coated in a lo-fi haze, plunging bass and aching vocal fragments pull you in different directions as you hurry to keep up with the frisky groove.

Since 2010, he’s built a signature sound with heavy emotional weight—earning him recognition at the 2018 Dance Music Awards South Africa, where he took home both Best Remix and Best Male DJ. Influenced by jazz, soul, and the subtle textures of broken beat and downtempo electronica, his palette is wide - but his intention remains laser-focused on soul.

As a label, Feedasoul has always championed groove with depth, emotion with purpose, and Black Rose is no exception. This is one for the diggers. The late-night selectors. The ones who still believe house music is a form of storytelling.

known under a constellation of aliases including Future Jazz Ensemble, Nico Disco, and 
Nasty Boy — returns with a new chapter under his NBI moniker: Alphawaves, a four-track EP 
of introspective, deeply musical club material on Burnin Music. 
Drawing on the dreamlike textures of early Italian deep house and the emotive pulse of 
Larry Heard’s productions, Alphawaves is an ode to mood and movement. Each track feels 
spiritually guided — a reflection of Penna’s rare craftsmanship as a multi-instrumentalist, 
and a welcome deviation from over-quantized electronic music.

A prolific digger with discerning taste she draws from a wide and colourful musical palette spanning Acid House, Tribal percussion, Progressive, Trance, Breakbeat, and more. With a love of blissed out Balearic pads, Rave stabs and pumping percussion she weaves blissed out, eclectic and euphoric sonic experiences, full of different textures and emotions.

She's the founder of party series Embody which pushes a raw, vibrant flavour of House, Techno, and Trance in Bristol and has welcomed artists such as Gabrielle Kwarteng, System Olympia, The Trip and Kasra V.

Biosphere is the main recording name of Geir Jenssen (born 1962), a Norwegian musician who has released a notable catalogue of ambient music. He is well known for his early "ambient techno" aesthetic and later for his "arctic ambient" style, his use of music loops, and peculiar samples from sci-fi sources. His track "Novelty Waves" was used for the 1995 campaign of Levi's. His 1997 album Substrata was voted by www.hyperreal.org  as one of the all time classic ambient albums. But over the last few years his albums (such as Cirque, Shenzou, Autour de la lune, Dropsonde and N-plants) have embodied some touches of jazz, classical, drone and even some dub-techno.
