"I produced every track on this EP under the influence of some type of psychedelic, mostly LSD. They are long, linear tracks that were composed after weekends of head down dancing in dark clubs, meant to induce the type of trance that comes from repetition and a certain kind of moodiness. They also have a bit of old school House flavor to them, with the looping of mangled 1 bar Disco samples. Per usual with these kinds of tracks, they were in my DJ sets for a couple of years as I fine-tuned them, and I end up getting very attached to them, particularly when other DJ's start asking about them, and then I get to a point where I actually don't want them released! But when Man Power asked if he could release them on Me Me Me, I immediately agreed, as I knew they would be given a sort of care and support that would make me happy to have them released into the world, as opposed to feeling they would just be released into a black hole."​ - @the-juan-maclean

Juan MacLean is a Brooklyn based DJ and producer who has been a defining fixture of the New York and international music scene since his first records on DFA Records in 2002. Juan has produced an extensive catalogue of 12's and LP's, mainly for the record label established by his old friend James Murphy from LCD Soundsystem, DFA Records. 

Following a collaboration between Juan and Man Power under their Juan Power moniker on Life & Death back in 2019, Juan now links up with the UK imprint for a five-track release featuring a remix from Berlin-based Twirl and Fantasy Life boss Alinka.

The 'I Can't Explain' EP showcases Juan's productions' upbeat vibrancy as the funk-infused energy combines with the spirited synths and spacey elements, which includes a bubbling remix from Alinka.

The Brussels native is a reflection of the city. Mambele's musical universe is diverse and energetic. There are no boundaries in the music genres one might here him DJ or produce.

In 2018 he dropped his first EP called Ya Yambo for the label Cosmic Pop Records. His signature flair can be heard on the albums of artists’ such as twotimesnothing, Juicy and Zwangere Guy. New releases to be expected in 2021.

Mambele’s talents extend to radio as well. You should have a listen to his bi-monthly radio show on BRUZZ, named Bolingo. An opportunity to discover talented local dj's, producers, rappers, musicians, and so on. Once a month you can find him play his latest musical discoveries at the notorious Kiosk Radio.

Uplifting and rhythmic house sounds from Dampé landing on FINA Records. Next up on Fina Records is the 'Sleet' EP from Dampé - the solo project of Joe Munday, a producer and DJ from South London.  The four track release is arguably his most immediate, deep and dance floor focused project yet, including a collaboration with Narotam Horn. We're premiering the title track in full today - 'Sleet' closes the record with some rolling house pieced together from tape samples, acid baselines and a growling Vermona DDR.

For his third full-length album, Jacques Renault explores his craft through the format of the classic late-night radio megamix. It's a tour de force that finds him blending his quick-cutting DJ sensibilities with his crate-digging, drum-chopping disco-chemist bonafides into one wham-bam party of pastiche.

This is Renault as we know him—but at hyperspeed, tearing through twentythree tracks in under half an hour. And while it's a head rush of his trademark funky drums, sassy horns, playful synths, it's arranged as an album, with songwriting and structure at the fore. 

Imagine it as a flip on the script for Renault's most loved club 12-inches of the past, which luxuriate in long-form, stretched-out grooves that burn for hours, fills that ride for days. Instead of on pulling a thread for six, seven minutes, he romps around in a bouncy ball pit, plucking out whatever captures his imagination for a moment, then diving back in to discover another buried nugget. It's Jacques Renault as we've always known him, but this time through a suite of bite-size vignettes instead of slow-burn grooves.
