Somehow, I was rejecting all the arrangements we made for Dhinak Dhinak back then.  So we ended up making  a lot of versions. Many friends believe some were better than the one released. But I don't blame myself because when you work on something for too long, the judgment usually gets impaired.

Unfortunately, we lost almost all those tracks due to system collapses and producer’s habitual moving studios or I would have bombarded you all with more versions of Dhinak Dhinak than ‘Arijit's Kabira’.

Though this version was not among the top contenders for the release. This one somehow popped up from a folder today while I cleaned up my laptop. Couldn't resist sharing.

Some might say the situation at the moment isn’t relevant, but I believe the song is Sadabahar.

Sanwal is an original MHB song written around Raag Charokashi, whose Western equivalent in terms of scale notes is the Mixolydian Flat 13 scale or mode.
The song has been a favourite on many talent shows and has been one of the most covered songs on TV. The song's lyrics were penned by Lahore based poet Farhat Abbas Shah and the melody was composed by Mekaal Hasan Band's first vocalist, Riaz Ali Khan Sb.
