We have another spiffing release right here on Perplexity Music, the goods being delivered to you by US based producer Orsa, who graced us with a phenomenal free download earlier on the year. 'It's Always Been You' is a superb EP that does nothing but raise the bar of perfection which this talent to watch out for has accomplished so continue on & take in the journey you’re about to go on! 

To start off, we have the original title track 'It's Always Been You', an enigmatic wonder to start off with as the direction it takes is one that exceeds all expectations with the layers of beauty that glows out from the jump. Being pulled in by the warm & sensual chords, you become weak at how incredible & beautiful something could sound, something could exist. Even the most locked up minds can be set free with each passing second of this production, like therapy for the wounded mind. The hope that it isn't the end, that hearts would be reunited after the sublime breakdown sparks up the flames as the heaviness of the melody really sinks in. Pure brilliance, words of the broken hearted could not be conveyed better than in this masterpiece, fuelled by all that makes us human, makes us remain that way till we're reunited with the one we thought was gone. But hope, it doesn't always breed eternal misery, just sometimes, it breeds positive; as this heart wrenching piece that speaks to us in the words of music shows.

With this artistically elaborate original, we are pleased to include 2 quality remixes for a variation; the first coming from Italian super talent Sunlight Project. With this remix, the original is transformed into a more laid back & perkier sounding piece, with more of an influence on the retro electronic use of the various synths that contain the magnificent original melody. The feeling of a happier ending exudes from this rendition as it gives off an unmistakable feel of serenity, as if the usually inevitable parting of two souls meant to be didn’t occur; instead living together in a heavenly comfort. The vibrant textures brings an almost 80's feel but with a modern twist thus creating something that sounds pleasant & inviting. Succumbing to an absolute divine piano breakdown really pushed on the sweetness of the melodic hooks before jumping back into the feel good synth filled finale, the final part of the story, the last joining puzzle.

Once again, Orsa delivers his utmost best & provides us with a yearning for those incredible sounds of pure radiating melody drizzled productions that are further enhanced by the outstanding contributions from the remixers. There really is nothing more raw & untouchable than the feeling of love & loss & to be able to dictate that in ways that music can portray the story in is a feat itself. Whatever the situation is, wherever you may be & whatever the outcome, things happen for a reason, despite our preference but as long as inspiration, emotion & love exists, there will always be something to comfort us & this EP, is one of many things that can be our safety net.
