Seed Selector pela Rádio Banzeiro

Macrodose (@macrodose_dj) tornou o isolamento social causado pela pandemia num isolamento musical, quando encontrou na discotecagem uma forma de autoterapia em que colocava sua pesquisa iniciada nos tempos que andava de skate, com referências do rap, soul, reggae e disco music dos anos 80 que escutava no carro de seu pai, que hoje se unem a sua vivência na cena eletrônica de São Paulo.

Independente de BPMs e ritmos, as basslines calorosas, ambiências introspectivas e percussões multiculturais regem seus sets que passeiam furtivamente pelo downtempo, electronica, nudisco, future disco, indie dance e darkdisco em camadas sobrepostas como as que opera em seus mais de 10 anos como designer digital.

Acredita que a música salvou sua vida em vários momentos de seus 30 anos e que continuará salvando a cada set performado.

this was definitely a great night and i had so much fun opening for CREAM's second edition! this was my first time at Citylights Music Hall, amazing soundsystem and crew, packed dance floor, great friends on the line up, and much more on the floor vibing, even my sister! i surely had a blast! since i was the opening act had to build up slow and steady but the crowd came in hungry for the bangers and they were awesome! and well, everytime i can slip in some siriusmo it means i was all in for the gig <3

Perpetually bounded to the mission of carrying Brazilian musical tradition and Latin music elements, I’ve been exploring a rougher and faster style, accelerating from Downtempo and deepening into House. With harder beats and higher BPM, both my new productions and this set sound spicier than what I’ve done before.
On this set I’m presenting 3 unreleased tracks – and they shall be released soon, stay tuned. A fine blend of Latin and Afro House references with my Brazilian roots, this set is most appreciated by fans of the dancefloor.

at first i was in shock with the invitation to play at @namanteigaradio, since it's been many years i wished i could play there someday, and happyy and nervous i was. and for such a special day for me, i decided to make something completely different just cuz i don't really like making it easy for me. decided to take another detour from my most recent sets with faster BPMs to bring a diferent research that mixes some of my downtempo origins with reediting of classics, some psychedellic house and grooves, percussive collages made live, and tracks i have never played but love to listen at home, going around the world thru music till reaching back to the nest of music and humanity themselves in the beats of the batuque of some remixed afrobeats
