Caetano Veloso was one of the early members of Tropicalismo, a cultural movement under the Brazilian military dictatorship in the 60s & 70s. His music is timeless and a beautiful example of Brazilian Psychedelic music. 

My remix uses another track of his somewhere, can you spot it?

Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan (Perseid's Walking Home Edit)

Hey, new original! 

This track was started months ago as a fun exercise in working out MIDI scores to old DOS games. I found a melody and tried to work in into a full track, which took a long long time until I was happy with it. A lot of samples have been added to it to make it work, e.g. tibetan flutes, percussion etc. The guitar is all MIDI as well though.

The finished track is a bit silly but should spread sunny vibes wherever you play it, perfect for your tropical afternoon set ;-)

PS - The title and vocals are from an old Mexican movie called "Los Tres Calaveras" - it's about a macarena band in the 50s and free on YouTube!

Super Biton were a malinese super group active in the 70s and 80s with lots of Afro-Cubano jams. I came across this track from their album Nyangaran Foli on a sampler and loved the global feel of the percussion and brass as well as the switch-up in the middle! Super danceable and fun. I hope you enjoy this one, DL while you can!
