Renowned globally as a true pioneer of Melodic Techno and Progressive House, Darin Epsilon’s distinct sound has appeared on iconic labels including Ritter Butzke, Siona Records, Katermukke, Einmusika, Renaissance, and Selador.  His productions have earned support from heavyweights such as Adriatique, Agents of Time, Innellea, Joris Voorn, Korolova, Miss Monique, Nora En Pure, Pete Tong, Solomun, Vintage Culture, and many more.  “Mindshadows” is a hypnotic journey that masterfully blends emotive melodies, intricate percussion, and atmospheric textures.  It’s a deeply introspective piece that showcases Darin’s signature storytelling approach, and a prime example of his innovative, versatile, and genre-defying sound.

The first remix comes from Hannes Bieger, one of the most respected names in underground dance music.  As one of Europe’s most in-demand mixing engineers, he has spent nearly two decades building an untouchable reputation from his studio in Berlin, completing thousands of projects for many of the biggest names in contemporary House and Techno.  Hannes has made a significant impact with acclaimed releases on influential labels such as Bedrock and Balance, while performing live at some of the world’s most prestigious electronic music events including Ultra (Miami), Awakenings (Amsterdam), Ritter Butzke (Berlin), D-Edge (São Paulo), The Bow (Buenos Aires), Cityfox (New York), and Baum (Bogotá), amongst many others.  Known for his stunning analog sets and impeccable sound design, he delivers a deeper, driving reinterpretation of “Mindshadows” that elevates its intensity while preserving its ethereal essence.

Rounding out the release is veteran producer Paul Anthonee from Cyprus, who offers a peak-time remix brimming with brooding energy and cinematic flair.  Being a part of the scene for more than 20 years, Paul is currently the co-owner and label manager of Ãstrαλ Records and has contributed to esteemed imprints such as Eleatics, Beatfreak, Running Clouds, Steyoyoke, and Suara. Perspectives Digital presents the winning remixes from the official contest for Darin Epsilon's "Janissaries", hosted by LabelRadar and Magnetic Magazine.  Originally released in April 2024 and inspired by Darin's visit to Istanbul's historic Topkapi Palace, "Janissaries" quickly became a fan favorite for its cinematic energy and dramatic melodic themes, making it an ideal candidate for reinterpretation.

The contest attracted over 100 submissions worldwide, mostly from Melodic Techno and Progressive House producers, to more unexpected styles such as Psy-Trance, Drum & Bass, and even Reggaeton!  This diversity highlighted the track's wide appeal, creative potential, and its ability to resonate across genres.

Synaptic Space & Uzun were crowned the winners with a powerful, atmospheric rework that amplified the original's tension while introducing polished modern sound design tailored for peak-time.

The 1st runner-up, ANMA, delivered a deep and brooding interpretation rooted in his signature dark aesthetic.  A classically trained guitarist and pianist based between Berlin and Barcelona, he brings a rich musicality that gives his remix a moody and haunting edge.

Together, these two standout reworks offer fresh perspectives and inject new energy into Darin's track, pushing "Janissaries" into new territory while preserving the spirit that made the original release stand out.

Part of the new generation of rising Dutch producers, Helsloot reworks and updates Michael's classic track into a sparkling Melodic House gem.  Having already worked with Tinlicker for the likes of Astalwerks and Armada, "Because You Move Me" for the latter earned the duo over 22 million streams.  Powered by a growling bass and driving beat, an earworm motif soon makes its presence felt while vocal cuts ripple over the melodic layers in counterpoint poignancy.  Full of emotion and spine-tingling dynamism, the track is an immaculately crafted affair that rightfully deserves its place in Darin Epsilon's esteemed label catalog.

The combined talents of Aaron Suiss & Mayro provide a slice of underground heaven for the 95th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital!

From the US east coast to southeast Thailand, Aaron Suiss is firmly ensconced in his adopted Koh Phangan home.  Renowned for the monthly Full Moon Party, the Thai island is the perfect location for Suiss to spread "love and joy through music".  A rapidly rising figure and label manager for Stan Kolev & Matan Caspi's best-selling Outta Limits, Suiss' own work for the imprint has seen Top 5 Beatport hits with 2020's "Legend" and "Anomalous", the latter with Kolev himself.  Currently a Beatport Top 30 Progressive House artist, Suiss is a producer very much at the center of the electronic dance music scene.

From Buenos Aires, Pablo Maneiro is another artist riding the crest of a wave within the modern dance scene.  With a 12 year career that took off with his Mayro alias in 2016, the Argentinean has seen his stock rise rapidly since 2018 with a century of production credits for the likes of Siona Records, Heinz Music, Lost On You, Dear Deer, Area Verde, and his own Traful imprint.

A pounding kick creates the backbone for "What You Believe" as the bass and percussive syncopation create club-friendly vibrancy.  Subtle melodic touches reveal themselves across the early stages in majestic fashion before a powerful breakdown, full of intensity, showcases a bassline variation that erupts into the second half with seething menace.

Continuing the musical narrative, "Ride" is an immaculately conceived track that bristles with rhythmic intent before the baseline provides the dancefloor’s foundation.  Evolving with a sublimely programmed melody that drifts in and out of the metronomic backdrop with ease, it twinkles across the stereo spectrum before shining unencumbered at the midpoint breakdown.  Hitting its stride once more in the second half, the combination of effects and filtered melody provide a magical voyage.

Returning with the 7th installment of his "Perspectives Around The World" series, Darin Epsilon's label sees artists from across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North and South America gather with fresh and innovative new music.

The final track finds Russian vocalist, Ira Ange, continue her starring role in the underground dance scene.  Carving out a career as one of the few DJs to simultaneously sing during her sets, Ira has spent the past 15 years honing her craft having worked with the likes of Gorge, Robert Babicz, Kolombo, and Martin Eyerer.  With performances across the globe under her belt, Ira's vocal talents have graced a double-century of production credits on the likes of Beatfreak Recordings, Dear Deer, and Lost On You, among many others.  A working partnership with Israeli producer, Serge Bosin, whose promising career has seen music on Beatfreak Recordings and Capital Heaven since his May 2023 debut, now sees the duo combine on PD with "Oumuamua".  Redolent in trademark Melodic Techno vibrancy, the driving beat and relentless bass sequence create an intensity that only increases with a filtered and rising arpeggio.  Reaching a glorious denouement, Ira Ange's vocals float in ethereal fashion over a stripped back breakdown before melodic elements are introduced once more.  Moving into the second half, an intricately cadenced, multi-layered vocal pattern is introduced which adds gravitas and club-friendly vitality into an impressive debut for Serge Bosin & Ira Ange.

Hitting the ground running at the start of 2024, Darin Epsilon's highly regarded label celebrates Volume 8 of its successful series "Perspectives Around the World".

An artist with a nascent production career, VABU has been a regular across Hamburg's club scene for more than 5 years.  As her renown grew, the rising German star found herself performing across her homeland as well as at the Habitat, Feel, and Pangea Festivals.  First meeting at Berlin's Ritter Butzke in February 2023 while opening for Darin Epsilon, VABU now makes her triumphant debut almost a year later.  Anchored by a pounding Techno beat and simple bassline groove, "Space Division" builds into a powerful melodic track.  A filtered refrain gradually comes to the fore in commanding fashion as white-noise infused stabs provide percussive intent.  A change of pace at the breakdown introduces subtle emotion through melodic counterpoint before the track rises and drops back into the club-friendly groove.  Matching the rising intensity of earlier phrases, VABU has created a surefire dancefloor dynamo.

A new collaborative pairing to take center stage, the 113th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital welcomes Bohm and Ark Nomads for a moment of dancefloor magic with "Waiting For You". Sydney-based duo Bohm have a distinctive sound built on a fusion of Melodic House, Indie Dance, and Afro House. The relative newcomers first made their debut in early 2023 and have established a respectable catalog signing to labels such as Einmusika and ICONYC, among many others. Hailing from Bangladesh and Argentina respectively, Arman and Lavo have made a similar impressive impact via their Ark Nomads moniker. Regular contributors to the higher echelons of the Melodic House & Techno and Indie Dance charts, music signed to Stil Vor Talent, Einmusika, and BeatFreak have seen the pair supported by heavyweights such as Tale of Us, ARTBAT, Solomun, and Joris Voorn.

"Waiting For You" is a pulsating affair where a chest-thumping kick and grooved bassline are accompanied by rapid fire hi-hats. Before long an array of spine-tingling analog motifs are introduced over a sparkling arpeggiated backdrop while an airy vocal phrase adds an ethereal and magical quality. Full of club-friendly intent, a filtered breakdown provides a pause for breath before snare rolls and bass dynamism sees a drop into the familiar melodies of earlier phases. The result is an immaculately conceived and expertly realized Melodic Techno gem.

Taking on remix duties, Spanish artist OIBAF, formerly one half of the powerful OIBAF&WALLEN project, joins forces with Turkish star, Gulec. Both respected artists in their own rights, OIBAF has had a busy 2024 with a clutch of solo releases on SIZE Records, Astral Records, Ear Porn Music, and more. Releasing music under his full name, Mehmet Gulec since 2011, the Turkish producer reinvented himself in 2020 with his "Back to Earth" EP on Theory X. Tracks on Click Records and VVISSIONN soon followed, before his "Rush" EP found its way onto Perspectives Digital in December 2021.

OIBAF & Gulec join forces for the first time with a memorable interpretation of "Waiting For You". Powered by a pounding kick and running bassline phrase, familiar vocal phrases appear courtesy of a stuttered arrangement and immaculately syncopated melodic sequence. Retaining the sonic DNA of the original, OIBAF & Gulec's skill is to push "Waiting For You" in new directions based on the melodic identity of the vocal. Fizzing with dancefloor energy, the remix waxes and wanes with an easy flow, building from a muted midpoint toward a driving, hands-in-the-air conclusion.

The 115th release on Darin Epsilon's renowned imprint features a brand new original track by Rafa Silva, Chilean-born Berlin based artist and label manager of Perspectives Digital.

With a rich and varied background, Rafa Silva has always had an "infinite love for music and art." Drawing inspiration from his roots in rock bands and a deep passion for classical music, he has crafted a distinct and captivating musical style. Since beginning his music career in 2018, his sound has evolved and found a home on esteemed imprints such as Ritter Butzke, Zehn Records, Poker Flat, and the renowned Balance Music.

Rafa is no stranger to Perspectives, having remixed Cary Crank's "Roll the Dice" in February 2023, while his track "Tabula Rasa" was featured on Perspectives Around the World, Vol. 7 five months later. Now returning for his third entry, "Desires" opens with a running bassline, a whip-cracking kick/snare combination, and ticking offbeat hi-hats. Evolving smoothly, an arpeggiated plucked phrase sets the stage before a filtered analog motif adds melodic dynamism. A new bassline coincides with a mid-range key change, adding gravitas before a stripped-back breakdown allows various motifs to merge with a vocal pad. A huge snare roll builds anticipation, leading to a powerful drop where melody and bassline unite for maximum dancefloor impact.

RELEASE DESCRIPTION

The 36th release on Darin Epsilon’s Perspectives Digital is a special collaboration between legendary producer Lexicon Avenue, Andrew Best, and vocalist Slim Wall. Perhaps best known for his Depeche Mode 'Only When I Lose Myself' interpretation, Chris Scott of Lexicon Avenue has been on the cutting edge of electronic music for over 10 years. He boasts a discography which includes releases on Audio Therapy, Hooj Choons, Ministry of Sound, Mute, Renaissance, and Yoshitoshi. UK producer Andrew Best spent many years collaborating with Lexicon Avenue and Mic Burns of Blue Haze fame before beginning a successful solo endeavor in 2013.

The final interpretation of 'Slide' is provided by UK talent Joseph Thomas Price, better known as Third Son, who is making his first appearance on the label.  Less than a year into his third production alias, he has already found a home on Suara, Noir Music, and Definitive Recordings.  Danny Tenaglia and Maceo Plex have been two of his biggest supporters and he's turned in a fabulous interpretation of 'Slide' for his Perspectives debut.  Its brooding groove and storyboard of haunting stabs provides an engaging journey.  A dubbier take on the vocal elements allows the contemporary designs to excel and provides a rousing conclusion to the release.  A wonderful remix from one of this year's brightest stars. Perspectives Digital presents the winning remixes from the official contest for Darin Epsilon's "Janissaries", hosted by LabelRadar and Magnetic Magazine.  Originally released in April 2024 and inspired by Darin's visit to Istanbul's historic Topkapi Palace, "Janissaries" quickly became a fan favorite for its cinematic energy and dramatic melodic themes, making it an ideal candidate for reinterpretation.

The contest attracted over 100 submissions worldwide, mostly from Melodic Techno and Progressive House producers, to more unexpected styles such as Psy-Trance, Drum & Bass, and even Reggaeton!  This diversity highlighted the track's wide appeal, creative potential, and its ability to resonate across genres.

Synaptic Space & Uzun were crowned the winners with a powerful, atmospheric rework that amplified the original's tension while introducing polished modern sound design tailored for peak-time.

The 1st runner-up, ANMA, delivered a deep and brooding interpretation rooted in his signature dark aesthetic.  A classically trained guitarist and pianist based between Berlin and Barcelona, he brings a rich musicality that gives his remix a moody and haunting edge.

Together, these two standout reworks offer fresh perspectives and inject new energy into Darin's track, pushing "Janissaries" into new territory while preserving the spirit that made the original release stand out.

Label owner Darin Epsilon presents his first ever mini-album for the 37th release on Perspectives.  ‘No Regrets’ is an exciting collection of new original tracks, remixes, and collaborations with an all-star cast that includes John Graham aka Quivver, Silinder, Tim Penner, and Alice Rose.

Widely regarded as the most influential and prolific figure of his genre in North America, Darin still manages to raise the bar for himself year after year.  2015 will go down as one of his biggest after a series of chart-topping releases on Sudbeat, Perfecto, and Selador.  Over the summer he signed with the prestigious Nightlaw Agency and even launched an official Beatport Play remix contest.  He had several important tour stops along the way such as Ministry of Sound London, Amsterdam Dance Event, Exchange LA, and South by Southwest in Texas.

Hailing from Denmark, Alice Rose is a multi-talented vocalist and instrumentalist who has intrigued audiences with her distinct live performances.  Her electro-acoustic shows include everything from drum computers to casios to effect machines spread out across the table.  Alice also plays the viola with her own bowing style and sings her intriguing lyrics with a voice that spans a wide register, from the sweet angelic to the hard and wild.  The Danish singer makes her label debut with 'My Own Time'.

The 47th release on Darin Epsilon’s Perspectives Digital features the Quivver and Einmusik remixes of Phil Martyn’s tracks 'Midnight' and 'Come On'.  Phil’s original mixes, along with the Petar Dundov and Kastis Torrau remixes, made for an impactful debut in 2016 and received massive support from industry leaders such as Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Danny Tenaglia, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, John 00 Fleming, Nicole Moudaber, Robert Babicz, Solomun, and many more.  The label storms into 2017 with this dynamic collection showcasing the unparalleled sounds of two legendary artists. 

Back for his second appearance on Perspectives is John Graham aka Quivver.  The UK talent has been producing since the early 1990’s under several aliases and has countless releases on top labels including Bedrock, Toolroom, microCastle, Sudbeat, and Yoshitoshi.  John has always gained consistent support from DJ giants and close friends such as Sasha, John Digweed, Pete Tong, and Paul Oakenfold.  His remix of ‘Come On’ is sure to get the dancefloor moving with its pumping percussion and deep but robust melody. 

Berlin based artist Samuel Kindermann, better known as Einmusik, makes his highly anticipated label debut with a remix of 'Midnight'.  For over ten years, he has been releasing top quality tracks on Diynamic, Suara, Kittball, Noir Music, Katermukke, and his very own Einmusika Recordings.  He is a welcomed addition and perfect fit for Perspectives with his signature deep melodies and library of distinguished sounds. Einmusik’s interpretation provides an elevating bubbly melody supported by hypnotic percussion and airy chords.

Phil Martyn - Come On (Quivver Remix) [Perspectives Digital]

Darin Epsilon’s label Perspectives Digital returns for the fourth consecutive year with its massively popular ‘MMW & WMC Sampler’.  The 2017 edition continues the tradition of showcasing some of the finest talent in the industry.  This year features new music from (in alphabetical order): blaktone, Hasan Mogol & Be Morais, Kamilo Sanclemente, and Paul Kardos.

The first selection of the series is provided by DJ’s Roma Rone and Igor Ri9or.  blaktone is a brand new music project from Saint-Petersburg and their music is a symbiosis of progressive and techno sounds.  Ri9or is no stranger to the electronic music scene with releases on labels such as Balkan Connection, Bonzai Progressive, Visceral, and Pangea Recordings.  blaktone’s ‘Aurora’ teases the listener with threads of atmospheric sweeps but quickly launches into commanding force with its dark and gnarly bassline.

Teaming up for the second selection is Hasan Mogol and Be Morais.  Born in Germany but now residing in Turkey, Hasan has been creating an array of hypnotizing, crowd-pleasing sounds for over ten years.  Brazilian producer and co-owner of Not Another Music, Be Morais, is rapidly establishing himself as a respected artist with his steady stream of works on Stripped Recordings, Dear Deer, and Slideways.  Hasan and Be Morais’ collaboration on ‘Awkward Dance’ crafts an undeniably industrious and sinister vibe with its pounding kick, haunting bassline and grimy chords. 

Next up is Kamilo Sanclemente making his third appearance on the label. The Colombian producer maintains his masterful discography on imprints such as Einmusika, Baroque, and Mistique Music.  He’s a staple on the Progressive House charts and a constant presence in Hernan Cattaneo’s charts and ‘Resident’ radio show.  Kamilo’s offering titled ‘The White City’ pushes the listener into a spellbinding state with its vigorous layers of percussion and eerie vocal samples.

Completing the series is Hungarian producer Paul Kardos.  Paul’s impactful debut on Perspectives titled ‘The Other’ was instrumental to the success of the ‘2016 ADE Sampler’ last October.  Paul brings his signature blend of melodic techno and contemporary progressive house with his newest production. In ‘Ancient Astronaut’, the dominating groove and whimsical chords continuously build, creating for relentless tension that satisfies in the third act by a dramatic finish.

Perspectives is involved with various projects that contribute to its success.  Music licensing, live events, and remix competitions have assisted in growing the label and expanding its fanbase.  Record label showcases are organized and held during the world-renowned events such as Amsterdam Dance Event and Miami Winter Music Conference.

In 2015, Perspectives Digital partnered with Beatport Play to organize a remix competition for "Outliers" by Darin Epsilon and Cid Inc.  The competition proved a major success with over 250 submissions.  Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic vs. Rick Pier O’Neil were named the Grand Prize winners with Subandrio, SummerMarian, and Solid Stone as the runners-up.  The Community Pick winner was awarded to Las Vegas based producer Nathan Clement.

Perspectives teamed up with Sonic Academy in June 2017 for a remix competition of Darin Epsilon's "One Thousand and One Nights".  Epsilon provided Sonic Academy detailed videos explaining how the track was made, later giving the contestants an opportunity to download the project file and stems.  Even though this was the first time any website created a tutorial dedicated to producing classic Progressive House, Sonic Academy received a record number of submissions with Paul Kardos, Ejaz Ahamed, and Magnetic Brothers being named the winners.
