This was a fun little idea that I had, so I thought I'd give it a shot. To mock pop music, I made a pretty standard pop bassline (C, Gb, Eb, A#, C, Gb, Eb, D) and wrote the whole nine yards for cheap, rock pop music :) The fun part was trying to write a filthy enough bassline afterwards  that was worthy of being called "fuck pop".

Glitter Bath

This track was written during a time that I was fully immersed in work, exercise and sleep. I had next to no time for writing music, so instead I started going to sleep earlier and waking up even earlier. I made full use of the few hours that I had in the morning to write segments of the track, and it slowly became this progressive melodic techno/house track. It decrescendos in the middle, builds to a new rhythm, and then combines both rhythms from both the beginning and the end of the song to utilize all of the sounds that are introduced.

Gray Matter Traveler

This is one out of two tracks that I wrote that was inspired by Miriam Honey Baer's excellent singing voice. Written in D Major, lots of the song was inspired by the recording that I played on the dulcimer (which was later replaced with a digital dulcimer due to lack of quality recording space sadly). Like a tribulation in itself, the song starts small and happy and then turns to a moment of dissonance; slowly evolving into a heavy and over turning sound as it builds up to a final release.

Tribulation

This is the second track Miriam Honey Baer and I wrote, with this one being even more progressive than Tribulation. The title "Connector" signifies not something like an ego stricken person would encompass, like their outgoing nature would be something to brag about. Rather, it signifies that we are all connectors... living for the human connection, reveling in it and learning from it. It can be beautiful, it can be ugly, it can be aggressive. But above all, it is a learning experience that we all need to truly appreciate existence.
