Polish artist Anwius is back on Suspended Sounds. His debut, Trust EP, garnered 265,000 plays and established the liquid drum & bass producer as a strong talent to watch.

Anwius' 'Fate EP' follows in the path of 'Trust EP.' Both tracks are powered by melancholic and reflective piano melodies. These tracks chronicle the emotions a romantic relationship. The A-side, 'Fate,' takes us on a journey through the early stages of said relationship, presenting tender emotions. The B-side, 'Like Us,' showcases the relationship years later, presenting stronger and more secure emotions.

Two artists that have found a home for their exquisite sonic palettes on Shogun Audio, Pola & Bryson and Emily Makis now serve up some of their most captivating work to date. Titled 'Phoneline', this latest offering collates Emily's mesmerising vocal capabilities and songwriting with the masterful production of one of drum and bass' most talented production duos.

Following on from a monstrous 2022's in which Pola & Bryson released 'Tell You What I Did', which went into rotation on Radio 1's playlist, and remixed the likes of David Guetta, VenBee, and High Contrast, 'Phoneline' sees them link up with a future superstar and the most exciting and compelling vocalist in drum and bass music in Emily Makis.
A frenzy of drums, plucks, synth work, and vocals that all co-exist in a sphere that's equal in its vast quantities of tension, power, and beauty, 'Phoneline' is a serious statement from both artists that'll resonate with listeners in the dance just as much as it will with those hearing it at home.

It's not often that songs like this come around - we can't wait to share this one with the world.

Phil:osophy is the collaborative project from Philth and Phil Tangent. Both producers share a love for the kind of rich, emotional musicality that shines throughout this classy two-tracker.

Their own take on deep, rolling soul has led to releases on labels such as Integral Records, Future Retro and Lunar Records. Intricate drum work, clever sampling and warm bass from two producers with a true appreciation of the deeper side of drum and bass.

The reflective vocals of “Guarded” meet a melancholic atmosphere that develops into deep bass and rolling percussion. By contrast, the bright sounds of “Old Souls” makes for the perfect pairing. As one of the first tunes written together by this meeting of Phils, we’re proud to include this as part of their debut release for Dispatch Recordings.

Camo & Krooked - Aurora (feat. Metrik) (Justin Hawkes Remix)

Returning to Soulvent after their successful ‘Cold Shoulder’ EP in 2024, Francesco and Alessandro, better known as Invadhertz, commence yet another Extended Player project on the label. The first offering from the forthcoming ‘Styx EP’, serves as a suitable reminder that the Italian virtuosos really can bring the tumultuously techy liquid vibes, but deep down, you knew that already.

'Deep Down’ starts with minimal hats and looming atmospherics. The filtered drums and tease of a vocal sample in the intro cannot prepare you for the menacing bassline that is to arrive with the drop. Crisp drums keep the tempo and allow the guttural bass notes to do all the work. This track will no doubt feature in many a set, down in the depths of the dance.

You don’t have to pretend you can wait any longer for this track, which will be out in all good stores on 17th January 2025.
