Germany's Pete Foe hits hard with three catchy dance and deep house tracks on New King in Town.

Originally released on our NYE 2020 compilation, the title track sets a traditional club tone for the single. But Foe is not wanting for surprises. "I want to take the listener on a journey," he says. "To tell a story."

And he does just that with diversions into deep house on the crackling Search Love to Resist and twangy Topeekeegee (with some indie dance flavouring.) All three tracks form the light-hearted musical story that Foe has crafted. And it's a fast-acting happy pill.

Pete Foe / New King In Town (Original Mix)

Born in Baden-Wuertemberg, he grew up in Hessen in the Rhein-Main area and was there when Techno was born in 1993. That was also the starting point for his DJ experiences. The 1210 followed in 1997 after he had already tested and expanded his skills on other turntables. Due to his love for the 1210s, his selection of vinyl at home is correspondingly extensive.
Later DJ appearances were announced in the Rhein-Main area. In large and small clubs, the audience was thrilled by his choice of music.
With the increasing digitization of music, Pete Foe was introduced to the production of his own music, because there were opportunities that simply did not exist before.
He also wanted to try analog equipment via the path of digital music production, so today the production consists of a combination of digital and analog media.
A year-long process of learning, a lot of time, effort and patience  led to the current ability making music.
