In southern Jordan you will find the 280 square miles (720 km2) Wadi Rum desert. 
The locals call Wadi Rum “Wadi Al-Qamr”, or “Valley of the Moon”. The name is fitting:
like the moon, it inspires those who come to witness it. The endless red sand dunes are matched only by the majesty of the granite and sandstone mountains and the complete, star-filled night sky that appears throughout the depths of the night. Traveling to Wadi Rum is traveling to an area that, outside from the outcropping of a small village and tourist attractions, has remained essentially unchanged for thousands of years. These hot desert days and chill nights have been the same for millennia.

Throughout it all, for the last five thousand years, the Bedouins of Wadi Rum survive. Nearly all the native inhabitants of Wadi Rum are bedouins. Here, they live in the Rum Village and in the desert, some families moving from place to place as the climate demands. Their livelihood, traditionally dependant on the animal husbandry of raising goats and camels, has been supplemented but not replaced by the advent of tourism.

Bedouin lives are shrouded in mystery and myth to those outside the tribes. Stories and legends like those found in Lawrence of Arabia romantically capture their rugged individualism but honestly fail to truly get at the lives of one of the few remaining nomadic people on the planet.

Marrakesh Medina was founded in 1070 by the Almoravid dynasty. Its architecture is unique and special. For that, UNESCO declared it in 1995, as part of the world heritage.  Like all old cities, Marrakech medina was built around a wall that had different strategic gates to protect it from any eventual intruders. The old city is called Medina. It means “a city” in Arabic. The old city is composed of several neighbourhoods that are connected throughout streets. In every neighbourhood, there are four important elements: Mosques large and small ones, public steam baths called Hammam and a public oven. They are all located in the centre of the quarter usually,  next to a square where the main activities are.

Music describes exactly what words can never achieve. The exploration of sound and the emotion of music characterise exactly what Pete Oak is all about. A simple desire to let his music speak a thousand words. Starting out his career with soft and emotional productions, Pete has moved forward and progressed his style into an underground oriented sound that revolves around hypnotic melodies and driving grooves. Getting lost in the atmosphere of sound and music is the main philosophy behind his productions.

Pete has released originals as well as remixes on respected labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Toolroom, Sincopat, Eskimo Recordings, Steyoyoke etc. Pete's tracks has also frequently been aired by Pete Tong on BBC radio 1 and gained massive support from some of the biggest artist in the underground scene. 
From Pete's first release in late 2012 things has progressed really fast. He has already been dj'ing all over the world. New York, Miami, Johannesburg, London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Moscow are just a few of the cities Pete has been playing in over the past two years. 

Recently Pete has started his own label, Blindfold Recordings, with the agenda of releasing music that defines his own personal taste. His label will not be defined by the number of famous producers. The sole purpose is to bring good underground music to the surface from all around the world.
