What do you play when you're closing down an inspiring weekend retreat celebrating 20 years of Shameless? Here you go!

Although the recording ended up with a few random pops/crackles along with an 8 second moment where a CDJ died mid mix (not sure WTF happened there?!), I decided to move past the imperfections and share this moment in time. 

I won't ever forget following John Tejada's epic 3 hour journey to close out our 20 year celebration riding into the morning together.

On Weds Aug 31, I decided to plug in my headphones and hit record for 2 hours. Here is the result. My fish tank is next to my dj booth. She was just staring at me...I'm assuming she could feel the bass. I decided to dance w/her...pay her attention. She then proceeded to honor me with the most beautiful dance I've seen in a long time. She swam in circles, back and forth, she wiggled. Amazing!

We had a big stack of speakers on that beach, danced so hard our feet were sore for a week, and raised  $853 for NextAid.  It was a lovely event!
