Recorded for my girlfriend back in our first year together :)

Quality isn't great, I think I went straight into a standard soundcard at the time, via a small guitar amp's line out... I've tried my best to tweak the sound in Audacity, but hey! It captures 'thoughtfulness'.

I keep changing my mind on how I did this, but I think it could be my Telecaster doing the lead and rhythm ... I'm guessing either way, it was a long time ago and  I could be wrong! It Can't remember the tuning, I suspect a DADGAD variant.

The Past Year (recorded 2008)

I've really been working on this idea this evening.. I struggled to pick a good enough title, but it does convey how I felt during the process.  :)  I had other parts that could have gone in too, and I could have played it for longer, but my mind was slowly falling asleep as it was late! I'm proud of how it worked out though.

Nowadays I Daydream A Lot (feat. Julie Elven)

An autumnal acoustic twiddle, the idea being about a leaf struggling to stay onto a tree, as three autumn storms blow past. Eventually the last storm wins... 

Recorded with one mono condenser mic, using my Takamine AN10, tuning is actually more like: DACEAc (not quite there as I tuned to the resonance of my guitar). Easiest equivalent would be EBDF#Bd... Depends on your guitar/preference I guess!

Three Storms And A Leaf

Since its December and all... 

I worked out my own version of this in standard tuning a few years ago, but my guitar has recently been in a weird tuning for another piece I'm working on. So I fancied a challenge - so here it is in DADF#ADb (albeit more like C# whatever as I always tune down...  :D )

Silent Night (guitar improv)

Ignoring 'The Simpsons' intro, which amused me.... :P

There is a church near to my house and they sometimes practice ringing the bells there. Afterwards I found myself playing something like it on guitar and tried to make it something.. Its an idea anyhow..

Been working in an odd tuning again (EbADF#ADb), and been meaning to record one of my ideas properly for people to hear... Let me know if there are issues with bass, as it could be my headphones being rubbish and they can't handle it... Hope some people like it, as usual I seem to have better versions when I'm sat in the kitchen without a microphone.. But hey!

Sunlight

Tuning is essentially CADGBbD. But as the tags suggest, I was feeling thoughtful and annoyed at being a bit indecisive of late. This is also for other people out there who maybe doubt themselves, just believe in yourself! :)
