TBHH034 Tom Basquil & Baseglitz - Instabitch
Baseglitz is back on Hammerheads, but this time he has brought along some company in the form of Twist veteran Tom Basquil. The boys have paired up and created this little beast that features a rolling bassline with sharp piercing percussion, eerie drone like sounds and subtle melodic lines, with some quirky vocal shouts alongside short snippets of the main lead that sees us through in to the breakdown. The breakdown features a bright syncopated synth that introduces the main lead rather nicely before building up to a little vocal injection that carries us to the fierce kickback where all the elements come together and drive forward on their beautifully dark journey. Belting track from the boys, we’re loving this sound, keep them coming lads!!!

Synopsis:
TBHH035b Lo Pan EP Part 2 - Lopan vs James Nardi - Condor
Here with have the second half of the Lopan EP, this time teaming up with Twist frontman James Nardi. This track features an offbeat bassline with low-end heavy undertone stabs, sharp hats, melodic synth lines, and an almost soothing vocal that carries the track along it’s beautiful journey, aside all of the melodies and different harmonic layers until we hear something more sinister start to rumble in the lower layers that leads us into short snippets of the main lead as we build up for the break. The vocal is the main foundation of the break featuring some gated effects and a formerly unheard harmony, alongside the low-end undertones, melodies and gritty stabs until the main lead starts to filter up as it builds with the other elements into a ferocious kickback where that iconic Nardi sound is unleashed and steals the show in all its glory accompanied by the vocal and other previously heard elements. An absolutely delicious piece of music that you can hear on a club system for the first time at the upcoming Twist event on August 14th. We’ll see you on that dancefloor!!

Pete Maxwell is an Australian Hard House DJ and Producer. He also plays Trance and Techno under his Pete.M alias.
Pete has played for Tidy/Ideal, closing out the 2017 Summer Gathering Festival and has played on line-ups alongside DJs including BK, Andy Whitby, Technikal, Steve Hill, Dark by Design and Rob Tissera. He regularly played at events in London for Hard House Korruption and has also played in Brisbane, Australia for Beatwave and played in various Adelaide Clubs in the late 90s and early 00s. 
Pete is part of the Global Awakening Records admin team and helps with social media and promotion.
Pete has had numerous Toolbox top 10s and several number 1s. He has been featured on Cheeky Tracks, Nu-Skool Recordings, Global Awakening Records, Sin Records, Tempo Trax, Global Hard House and Hi-Five Digital. Pete has several tracks coming out soon including a massive release on Tidy Trax.
