As restrictions creep their way back into our lives down under, we're bringing Tender Games to our latest mixtape series dial up the vibe all the way from the party capital of the world. 

Soul singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Tender Games is the project of German-Jamaican Ulrich Harrison. Since releasing his debut album in 2014, the musical maestro has gone onto build a delectable discography across a bunch of EPs, remixes and singles including his latest release Hard To Find, a feel-good disco groove with punchy poolside flavour. 

Now home at Berlin-based record label Midnight Snacks since 2019, Mr Harrison is combining his characteristic delicate and soulful voice with the iconic sounds of funk, soul and R&B to create his signature blend of poolside disco music - and we think you're going to love it.

Philippa's just-released Rainy Nights EP is an absolute must, which captured Wahine's ear right away, leading to her outreach to Philippa for a guest mix. Lucky for us, she graciously accepted the invitation. The Rainy Nights EP is highly affecting and emotional music--both driving and dreamy--and beautifully produced by a veteran of the New Zealand house scene. ABOUT PHILIPPA
Originally hailing from New Zealand, Philippa now calls Berlin as her home, and her love for House music dates back to the late 90s when she first started DJing. For a decade, she curated a renowned bi-monthly club night named "Chicago Disco" in Auckland, which headlined five to six national tours, leading to unforgettable moments of partying, globetrotting, promoting, and DJing.
In 2013, She took the leap to move internationally, choosing Berlin as her base to delve into music production, captivated by the city's exquisite beauty, dark soul, and creative vibe. Presently, She has the privilege of teaching electronic music production and related subjects at dBs Berlin Catalyst - Institute for Creative Arts and Technology, while also dedicating time to composing music and enjoying invigorating jogging sessions - a fulfilling and recurring cycle in my exhilarating life.
