SAMOSA FUNK was on the billboard at My House Radio last Monday (13th Dec 2021) with yet another super-charged show full to the brim of tasty cuts from the Les Inferno and De Gama inspired Emporium of Sonic Brilliance. 

For Volume 20 of their residency, Les Inferno kicks things off with another delve into the vaults - dusting off gems from the likes of Junktion, The Reflex, Ray Barretto, Eli Escobar and many more. 

For the second hour, De Gama ramps up the tempo with absolutely top class selections coming in the form of Emmaculate, Masters At Work, Saison, Miguel Migs, Monsieur Van Pratt and an upcoming  Daje Funk release that’ll leave you breathless.  

Everywhere we go, people tell us that Samosa Funk is the highlight of the month and we find it hard to disagree. Always a musical education and a must for the connoisseurs out there.

If there’s anyone who prompts the question “When does he find time to make that?” it’s serial editor and remixer Pete Le Freq. For more than 20 years he’s been reworking disco and funk classics as label boss of Alpaca Edits and Llama Farm Recordings, updating originals with a distinctive dance‑floor edge. His prolific remixes have been played by DJs worldwide — he’s a regular at Beatherder, made his Ring stage debut this summer alongside Utah Saints and Jaegerossa, and is a Mastermix remixer alongside Ben Liebrand, Sgt Slick and DJ S. He’s shared decks with Young Pulse, Michael Gray, Craig Charles, Dr Packer and Jo Whiley, and already has dates booked for 2026. 

Simply put:  he makes what he loves in the headphones come out the big speakers.
