It was a wonderful summer day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and Copenhagen celebrated the return to freedom with the first Distortion Ø festival in three years. Sharing the Sunrise stage with Adriatique, Ben Böhmer, WhoMadeWho, Todd Terje and Ashibah, this was the opening set of the festival. Join the ride as music turned from zero and up to full volume. Finally I got to set foot on one of the greatest festival grounds of The Netherlands: Wildeburg. For some reason it just never happened before. Because I wasn’t into raving yet, or because I didn’t manage to get one of those extremely popular tickets, and then I did two times but other plans took over.

This year I got to go, and finally experienced the magic myself. And I hope i brought a little bit of magic as well, with this set that took us into the evening. I tried to cross the bridge from Thommie G before me to the live band Mèraque after me, so you can expect a bit of a soft landing. Hope you enjoy!

WILDEBURG 2025: Ed Noodle @ The Lodge (House of Chi)

Mark is a groove kind of guy, but one that never looses sight of the warm and melodic blanket that can comfort you while hanging in that groove. He’s known for throwing events like his own Ankleideraum and a driving force behind The Noodle Lounge, both places where the love for downtempo music is dripping from the walls. It’s how he starts his set as well, but be prepared for a journey that takes you to a higher dose of energy, and then back down in tempo. Enjoy!

Con lanzamiento previsto para el 26 de diciembre de 2025 a través del sello italiano Go Deeva Records, CANVI une fuerzas con el productor belga Florist (BE) en “Don’t Say”, un track que se mueve con naturalidad entre el afro house contemporáneo y una narrativa progresiva cargada de tensión emocional.

El tema se articula alrededor de una vocal intensa y expresiva, que actúa como hilo conductor desde los primeros compases, apoyada por una línea de bajo profunda y con carácter. A partir de ahí, “Don’t Say” desarrolla una progresión cuidada y envolvente, donde el groove se va afirmando poco a poco, dejando que la atmósfera gane peso sin necesidad de golpes evidentes.

La producción equilibra energía y sensibilidad. Texturas cálidas, capas armónicas bien medidas y un movimiento rítmico fluido construyen un paisaje sonoro que funciona tanto en contextos de club como en escenarios más abiertos, desde pistas nocturnas hasta sesiones al atardecer. Hay una clara vocación de viaje, con una estructura que invita a dejarse llevar más que a buscar un impacto inmediato.

Antes incluso de su salida oficial, “Don’t Say” ya ha despertado el interés de nombres clave de la escena internacional, con apoyos tempranos de artistas como Keinemusik, Arodes o Peace Control, situando el track como una de las piezas a tener en cuenta en el cierre del año.

Con esta colaboración, CANVI y Florist (BE) firman un corte emocional y efectivo, alineado con la identidad de Go Deeva Records y pensado para resonar en pistas de baile donde la progresión y el detalle marcan la diferencia.

Lighthouse, Eden Garden, Guy's Bar - Koh Phangan Thailand

Peter G was born in 1975, in Fürth, south Germany. For generations his family had been in the entertainment business working in carnivals all throughout Germany, and so it was inevitable that Peter would grow up as a showman, a character that comes out in his performances. 

It was in 1990 that Peter G was first introduced to techno music while partying in Würzburg - Airpot, Frankfurt - Omen, U60311, & München – Ultraschal. The beats immediately appealed to his senses and thus grew his passion for electronic music. 

Peter G initially started going on holidays to Koh Phangan, Thailand, falling immediately in love with the island, but it wasn't long before he started to really miss the music from Germany. This is when he decided to start his DJ career in 2004 on Koh Phangan, and finally made the permanent move to Thailand in the winter of 2008. 

During the past 12 years, the electronic music scene of Koh Phangan has evolved, along with Peter G’s style of music to the point that he is now one of the most popular artists of the island. His deep passion for electronic music and his creative knowhow to bring the people to another level of experience has helped shape Koh Phangan's underground music scene to what it is today. 

Peter G is one of the artists that started the Lighthouse party and the infamous Eden Garden Saturday night parties, and is still resident DJ of both today. Now music lovers from all around the world come to listen to Peter G play and to get inspired by his music, inviting him to play in clubs and festivals all over the world.
