Cognitive dissonance (w. INRGD)

Please take note of the paranthetical descriptor in the title of today's Interbay track.  This is definitely an "extended" mix of what could have easily been a 4 minute song, or a 5 and a half minute song, or a 7 and a half minute song--there were definitely "off-ramps" that I could have taken on my route towards a track that people might want to engage with...  

...but, I went the whole "Intacontinentalballistic" way and let it extend to nearly ten minutes of Interbay madness!  The nice thing about just accepting that you're working on a longer-than-most sort of song, is that you can let your arrangements breathe--everything doesn't have to be winnowed down to only what's essential, you can let a groove run as long as it feels groovy, you can come in with a left turn idea without completely losing the original plot.  

That said, I understand if you want to bail early.  I get it.  Life is short and Interbay tracks are long.  However, those of you willing to hang on through the entire thing--you're in for a treat.  This is an uptempo synth rock dancefloor filler...and it represents what I'm trying to do with Interbay quite well.    

...and, for those about to Interbay, I salute you!
