Where Are You Tonight?

We play early music (especially Elizabethan) for recorder, cello and harpsichord.  Both Lanier and Bassano families were musicians in the court of Queen Elizabeth I and played  at her funeral in 1603.  Aemilia Bassano Lanyer, a poet in her own right, is held to be the “Dark Lady” to whom Shakespeare’s sonnets are dedicated.

Founder of Lanier Consort & Rock River String Band. Plays dulcimer, harpsichord, piano and flageolet. Cantor and church choir member.
