This is the first five tracks off of my first trio record, which I never released. I still believe in the value of this music, and Soundcloud finally offers me a perfect venue to "release" it. This music was all composed during my Master's degree studies in Jazz Composition at New England Conservatory 2002-04.

World House Track

Peter Stoltzman is the Piano Area Head at CU Denver, and Co-Director of the CU Denver Summer Music Industry Program. Formerly the Faculty Director, he now co-directs the prestigious Mentor Fellowship Program within the Stanford Jazz Workshop’s two week Jazz Camp for high school students. In 2009, he served as the music director for the Leadership Enrichment through the Arts Program in Austin, TX. He earned degrees from Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory, and a doctorate in Music and Human Learning from UT Austin in 2014. A stylistically diverse pianist, he has played at Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and recorded with Steve Gadd, Eddie Gomez, the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Warner Bros. Hip-Hop artists, American Music Award-winning jam band the Bomb Squad, and singers such as Javier Colon (winner of “The Voice” season 1), as well as touring and recording extensively with his father, Grammy-winning clarinetist Richard Stoltzman.
