None of these songs are my work! These songs has been made by awesome people from VGM Academy group as their part in the 21DaysOfVGM Music Challenge, where they were supposed to write at least 2 bars of new music every day for 21 days in a row. I only made these playlists for me and for them (and anyone interested, really)to be easier to listen uninterupted.. Enjoy.

VGM Academy Music Challenge Fall 2019 - Day 12

This is an arrangement of Allan Holdsworth's song, Funnels. It was requested and commissioned by Ario Barzan (soundcloud: @diplocephalus // twitter: @Doshmanziari ) We should thank him for making this possible, for I would have never had the guts to try this had it not been for him challenging me to do it. Funnels is my favorite Allan Holdsworth song. I think it's the quintessential "Holdsworth" tune, combining all the things I like about his style of composing.

- Derryl Gabel, who transcribed the chords of this song's head and put them in a pdf, which I found and downloaded from his website years ago. (Who knew it would eventually come in handy?) Mr. Gabel also has transcriptions of many other Holdsworth tunes, but they are behind a paywall now.
- Allan Holdsworth for writing the song, and all the musicians that played with him, for they had a strong influence on how his songs ended up sounding. Funnels with Dave Carpenter and Gary Novak is a completely different sound from Funnels with Steve Hunt, Skuli Sverisson and Chad Wackerman.
- Gabriel, a guitarist friend, who introduced me to Allan Holdsworth's music.
