Inspired by the totally AWESOME Spectrasonics' Stylus RMX groove based virtual instrument and composed on Ableton Live 9, this track is totally original. The Triple Play midi pick up on my Fender Stratocster enables me to use my guitar as a midi controller. Guitar tone is coming from my Fender Strat and Kemper Profiling Amp (and Line 6 Pod Farm).

Altruistic

nspired by Ableton Live 9 this track started out as a Simpler (Lives Sampler) study. I found an interesting wave file that was already a nice pad and chord. The same chord moved around various tonal centers-chords are all symmetrical. The sampled vocal parts were fun too. They're free samples from Bluezone I found on the net. It's fun to drop them in Simpler and let the creativity flow. 0-@

This song, "Candine" is from a cassette, which is from a cassette etc., so excuse the hiss! This was a board mix from our group The Shadows in 1983 at Bogart's here in Cincinnati. We opened for the Raisins the Wed. before T-day. It's a song co-written by me and Jay Noel.
