April 17th in Gennett History, 1928: Blythe and Burton recorded "Dustin the Keys" in Richmond.  It appeared on Ge 6502-B, Ch 15507, & QRS 7016. Champion 15507 sold approx. 900 copies between 1928 and 1929

A clip from the concert at the Emanuel Vigeland Mausoleum June 12, 2015. Played on the 14-string Korpiselkä kantele replica made by Rauno Nieminen in 2000. The mausoleum acoustics is indescribable - you have to go and experience it!

What always came first
was the unquenchable thirst
inside the fervour of youth's fire
revealing all secrets of desire.

You only find out when you are old
that actually you were never told.

The fruit of the dream I secretly fed
grew so much bigger than I thought it would ever get.
And as I raised my eyes to capture the entity of so devine,
I realized that even this soil had never been mine.

Left with no choices I pretend I've chosen this path
by using some highly respected science and math.
Trying to foresee what is expected around the corner
- will it always be the same as the former?
