The original melody is played by a hurdy-gurdy.  In this cover I tried to capture that sound by mixing 3 layers together, One is a distorted guitar and the others are virtual guitar synthesiser instruments.

The erhu melody was recorded during an improvisation on a 10 year old guitar synthesiser. I had to use tons of effects and plugins to improve the sound.

Alpine Chillout

Being a music addict guitarst, my main interest is to catch the unique feel of recording "live" melodies, solos.  I think improvisations contain the music's real language, the true spirit of a human, talking with his instrument. 

The songs were recorded and mixed at home by myself with the following gear:

- Lexicon alpha usb sound card
- Roland Gr-20 guitar synthesizer
- Sony acid pro recording and mixing software.
- Instrument samples found on the internet
