As we bid farewell to this year and welcome the new one, I've got a special treat for you: a mix I recorded last summer at Las Dalias in Ibiza. It's a magical evening moment that I want to share with you, to help you groove smoothly into the new year.

Those nights at Las Dalias and Akasha were legendary, and those of you who were there know exactly what I'm talking about. The atmosphere was electric, surrounded by fellow music and dance lovers – truly unforgettable. In this spirit, I wish you all a fantastic start to the new year. Stay healthy, fit, and spread love.

Tokyo’s Risa Taniguchi returns to Chris Liebing’s CLR with the ‘So Loud’ EP. The two-track EP follows up a collaborative EP with Black Asteroid on the label in 2022.

Risa Taniguchi’s title track to her ‘So Loud’ EP on CLR is a brilliantly alluring, stripped-back workout built on thudding kicks. The twitchy synth motifs bring a foreboding atmosphere next to raw percussion, all elements creeping in intensity. The electrifying 'Emission' brings more nervous energy with fizzing synths layering in rich texture over clacking hits and rolling bass. There's an unsettling sense of cosmic turbulence throughout this most stylish of tracks, making for a powerful and essential pair of cuts to lock the crowds in for a late-night trip.

At the forefront of the Japanese techno scene, Risa Taniguchi’s music on labels like Second State and Kneaded Pains mixes dark, lo-fi sound, distorted textures, and slow-burning energy that always hits its mark. She first arrived on Chris Liebing’s CLR in 2022 alongside Black Asteroid with the ‘Acid Flesh’ EP, which won the support of artists like Luke Slater, Blawan, Amelie Lens, and many more - once again excelling with her solo ‘So Loud’ EP this May.

Since 15 years Miss, myself and I - we celebrate life and music with ROBOLOCO. 
This party concept started on 20th of June 2009 at Club ESCAPE (DOM today), dedicated to Bulgarian DJ's. 

Miss Lidiya won me BEST SEEME  FEMALE DJ in the beginning of June . Famous  as ULTRA359 with our RAVE events HARD LOVE we took the next step into the future bringing to the advancing Bulgarian music scene the idea for  own party club night with  local heroes only . With my partner in hard techno crime DJ Smurf  we followed the new minimal techno wave evolving at the moment . 

We had no idea at that time that our future will be stronger out of the clubs, on our own territory ( The Loft 2012-2016).  The techno story continues today with 6th season at NUTONE ( 2019-2024), compact concrete space with massive sound at Vasil Levski Stadium.

The show must go on!

For our 600th mix, a dream come true: Sven Väth. Which takes us back to Frankfurt, 1981. This is the year it all began for Sven Väth, a living legend who transcends time and trends. Currently amassing 43 years of career (at the age of 59), he embodies the pure and timeless essence of the art of DJing, defending and keeping vinyl culture alive and always reinforcing the importance of researching music beyond the obvious, because only then is it possible to tell different and exciting stories with each new performance that can last for 2 or even 12 hours.

This Mix is a journey through a lot of unreleased music from Fjaak’s label mates and Fjaak themselves.

Techno, Rave, Breaks, Electro and Ambient: it's a journey through multiple genres and moods.

The mix mostly consists of upcoming tracks. But you can also find some tracks in there that might never be released and are exclusively released in this mix.

The A/V 002 first will be streamed simultaneously at 20h CET on both our YouTube Channel and Facebook Page at Friday, 1st of May 2020. The week after the audio recording will also be available on our SoundCloud profile.

For the second episode, the visual part of A/V will be prepared by Julius Winckler / Framework Visuals. Media artist from Berlin and part of the Spandau20 crew. Almost all of the footage in this video was shot at his home studio during self-isolation.
