This time mixed by no one else but our super darling Lasse Lambretta.

A very recognizable, playful sound is key element to most of his mixtapes, since he combines a very special style of mixing with an exeptional selection of tracks. The dancy but sometimes dark and melancholic rhythm of this tape perfectly describes this special time of fast changes, that we all are part of currently.

But we are more than happy to give you this simple advice - while you’re listening:

In 2021 we will present the series »Unpublished Reports from Level 23«, which is based on the 2020 series »The Untold Stories of the Sinking Sea!«. The number 4 in this year and number 134 since the beginning in 2011, is a talented musician from Munich/ Germany: it's https://soundcloud.com/duygu_music .

Actually nothing surprises a captain like our https://soundcloud.com/rolandson anymore - after all these years at sea it becomes really difficult but not impossible. For example, he just has to go to a wedding, which he almost never did until last year, and to play the after-hour there on a Sunday morning. but before he starts playing it can happen that a sound comes out of the boxes, which pushes him into the sofa and makes him listen enthusiastically. This is how he got to know Duygu, because it was she who so surprisingly beautified his morning. That's how it started and a few weeks later it was clear that Rolandson would be delighted to welcome her with her story to release her mix here.

It's a story about friendship, on the other side of the world. In 2019 Duygu visited her best friend in Australia and together they drove through the area. There was only one goal on the road trip: let everything flow and enjoy the time together. And of course, music was also part of their journey for both of them and that's how the mix for today was created back then. The music from the trip together was a bit forgotten until Rolandson asked her if she would like to put together a seaside trip. So she looked for old and new tracks, remembered the time and created this musical journey. Thank you Duygu and welcome to her "Trippin Bay of Fires" Mix.

Täuscht doch der Namensgeber als klein und fein und unscheinbar darüber hinweg, dass die Schwester und der Brudi von Habibi immer und ausnahmslos ganz großes durch die Lande streichen.

It's time to dive deeper into ourselves, exploring our inner depths, giving up some of our outer addictions, desires and comforts that might be causing damage to ourselves and other creatures we share this beautiful planet with. Maybe there are some old artefacts from the past that need to excavated, restored, released. Don't worry, we'll learn to breathe underwater. We’ll learn to become like seaweed, flexible to the currents of life, and make it look like we're dancing.

Atop the ocean surface, things seem choppy and chaotic. Riding the waves is sometimes fun and thrilling, and other times treacherous and terrifying. As we recount the joys and sorrows of the ocean, we notice it's a wheel that never stops turning. Maybe we can travel deep enough to touch our own inner stillness, the great aquatic wonderland, the holy peace; that timeless, weightless, oceanic feeling, where the sunlight pierces through, casting a shimmering jig of light and colour.
