Strap in. @jeansaudio is about to go off on one.

Based on Holland’s West Coast, JEANS emerged from The Hague’s hardcore and jungle scene with a love for raw 90’s Hip Hop, dub, and Raggamuffin. Soon he would delve into new styles such as garage, techno, breakbeat, goa, and electro, but as you can hear throughout this mix, what makes JEANS so uniquely raw, is his the way he stays true to his roots. 

Alongside his exceptional record collection, JEANS has a refreshing willingness to challenge and push the limits of a crowd. This soon gained him widespread praise, and has seen him take on a residency at Het Magazijn, and the role of head booker at both Whoosah and PIP. 

In 2018 JEANS' breakout EP ‘LUL GEEN KALMTE’ on Who’s Susan lit up clubs and sunny festivals alike. Recently we have also been graced with JEANS' addition to a recent Who's Susan VA, alongside a brilliant EP with Younger Than Me on Bar Records. 

Through this hour and a half long mix, JEANS does what he is known to do best. Seamlessly guiding us through the genres that are driving him to wreak havoc on dancefloors and inspire some truly incredible releases.

Mix 18 comes from Futureboogie Recordings label boss and co-founder of our little adventure in Croatia, Dave Harvey. Having been an integral part of the festival and it's predecessor, The Garden Festival, for over 15 years now it was about time we asked the man in charge to take over the controls for our latests sonic journey. The mix weaves through it all, from wigged out guitars to thumping acid and more besides.

This is a recording my dj set on July 19, 2019 at Nowadays in Ridgewood - Queens NY. It was a very hot Summer evening so I wanted lots of cool textures and patient builds to keep people cozy but steady and excited. So excited in fact a member of some beautiful dancefloor appreciation accidentally knocked some cables off the cdj about 2/3rds of the way in but recovery was swift and it's still a great recording.
