Beneath the azure sky, in morning's light,
The spring blossoms bloom, a splendid sight.
Their petals soft as a lover's whisper,
In colors as diverse as an artist's picture.

They dance in the breeze, so light and free,
A ballet of nature, for all to see.
Their fragrance sweet, fills the air,
A testament to spring's fair.

Each blossom's life, though brief it be,
Brings joy and hope, for you and me.
So let us cherish, while they last,
These harbingers of seasons past.

For in each blossom, pure and bright,

This song started as a hauntingly beautiful acoustic piece written and performed by James on his acoustic guitar. He shared it with JJ, who got the rest of us involved. JJ first added his barroom tinkle piano to the piece. Stephen quickly added the moody, tremolo guitar you hear throughout. Then, Josh and Ken did their little dance of back-and-forth bass-drum tracks until the rhythm section was solid. All that was left was for Stephen to mix it, with which we always appreciate his expert hand. 
  This is our first song with James, and it came together relatively quickly, which means we were all into it and having fun on it. James' page has a lot to hear on it-- some great originals and collabs, and some really cool covers, too. If you like this song, you'd really enjoy stopping by his page, too.
