Nurtured in the Big room spaces of China Xinzi left behind her commercial fraternity to pursue her true passion.,  Truly Modern Techno-  Streaming across China during the Covid Pandemic  Xinzi Han has quickly made a name for herself as a DJ, performer, and artist with a natural talent behind the decks as well as behind the scenes. 

In her native China, her DJ career has already hit the mainstream level with headline slots at the 2022 Sanya Fashion Show, the UCCA Lab NYE event, Electric Ski Carnival, and the Techno Is Woman event in Shanghai. She's also shown her breadth as a visual artist, headlining the Discovery Virtual Festival in Seoul, South Korea during the first global lockdown, which saw her playing in a virtual reality cityscape that has attracted over 10 million views among social media platforms to date.   Xinzi's musical direction would be influenced by another realm. Founding her calling in the darker corners of the industry's shadows —— Techno. Her exposure to the legends from Europe such as Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, and Sven Vath inspired her to pursue a musical direction in contrast to the big room acts she had worked with.

Above & Beyond and long-time collaborator Justine Suissa share their first joint effort in over four years, ‘Almost Home’. 

‘Almost Home’ is Above & Beyond’s first club track of 2021, arriving just in time for their Group Therapy 450 milestone show at The Drumsheds in London this September. ABGT450 is their first headline show in over a year, and will see the trio perform to an audience of more than 10,000 fans. Later in September, Above & Beyond embark on the Anjunafamily Reunion Tour, which visits major cities across the U.S.A. including sold-out stops at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Stanford’s Frost Amphitheater and the world-famous Echostage in D.C. 

Jono, Tony, Paavo and Justine have been working together since 2000 when they formed the group OceanLab. In 2008, they released their first and only album ‘Sirens Of The Sea’,a record that has gained near-mythical status among trance fans. More recently, Above & Beyond and Justine have collaborated on club hits like ‘Alright Now’, ‘Cold Feet’ and ‘Another Chance’, and emotive, downtempo records like ‘Little Something’. 

In 2016, Justine joined Above & Beyond during their sell-out ‘Acoustic II’ tour, which stopped at iconic venues including Royal Albert Hall in London and The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. 

“This is a track that we originally wrote with Justine some years ago. Like many musicians during lockdown, we buried ourselves in the studio and had plenty of time to pick through old ideas. ‘Almost Home’, with its ’80s production influences, caught our ear. We sent it across to Justine again, and she rewrote the second verse to reflect her feelings on it today - we won’t tell you what it’s about though, we’ll leave that for you to decide. This track started in quite a different form, so we’ve also done a Club Mix to bring it a bit more up-to-date. Amsterdam based Alex Preda (’84) is born and raised in Bucharest, Romania. The spark of love for dance music was lit with favorites including ABBA, Modern Talking and Boney M proving to be great influences on the young Alex, with his taste developing into the electronic sounds of the likes of Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis and the Cafe del Mar series in his teens. In 2007 Alex moved to the Netherlands.

The Preda sound has developed over the years into his signature driving techno, always with an element of warmth and melody underneath and has evolved into integrating live elements into his performances, something Alex has been perfecting over the years.

He released on Bedrock, Rukus, Weiter, Parquet Recordings and gained strong support throughout the industry including Pete Tong, John Digweed, Sasha & Adriatique.

Alex hosts a monthly radio show called “Layers” showcasing his favorite tracks.
Alex has played at Marktkantine, Thuishaven, La Reve Festival, ADAM Tower, Electric Castle, Basis, Landjuweel Festival, Gashouder, Westerunie.

With his releases “Heartbeat E.P.” on Weiter (which topped the Beatport chart in 2019), “Vertex” on Parquet, the remix for Dizharmonia “Octogon”, the collab with Tom Zeta ‘Tectonic Force’ on Weiter and ‘Staying Here’ one Days Like Nights, Alex Preda is a new player in the game you need to watch.
