Despite lockdown and not being able to attend our bookings, we have instead taken advantage of our spare time to complete a Cook Islands Music Mixtape. Embracing our heritage as a team has inspired us to continue promoting our very own Cook Islands Maori music through our art of DJing. Our strongest supporters are our Cook Islands community and we are abundantly grateful for your continuous support during our journey. We hope you enjoy this mixtape. This song was adapted by Aaron Tearetoa Mutua in 2008 for Forest View High School's polynesian cultural group - Polinetia Fa'atasi. 
The song is written about Cook Islanders not born in the Cook Islands and their affiance to the homeland - though they are born elsewhere, their flesh, their bones, their blood, is Cook Islands Maori.
The song was recorded for Te Eiva Nui Intermediate girls champion 2016 - Orica Paora of Tokoroa.
