Label owner Glenn Morrison has worked closely with IMAX over the years in music soundscoring, film work, and orchestral piece writing. Here is a collection of his creative writing sessions that were all mastered through various outboard pieces of gear and grafted on a warm Studer tape. It has a very artist album type feel although the writing process wasn't building towards a specific project, more of a headspace within the film to audio creative writing sessions. In a lot of these records we have also left more than usual headroom so as to preserve the full depth and dimension in these recordings. Similar to classical recordings, when there are large soundscapes and layers, having that quieter, less pushed master, allows for richer tones and textures within the final recordings.
